I had a regular outlet in the wall which I had my mother's power lift chair plugged in then my nephew would plug in his laptop into it and loosen the outlet and my mom was unable to put the footrest down, so she was stuck in the upright position many times. So, I said "enough of this I went online and ordered this ONDOG Multi Plug Outlet, Surge Protector, with 6 Outlets %26 also with 3 USB ports %26 the GREAT part about this whole outlet was it screwed into the outlet so my mother wouldn't be stuck with her feet up in the air no longer. Her chair outlet would remain in the outlet; my nephew could plug his laptop into any of the USB ports without pulling the outlet out of the wall and my sister could come home from work and plug in her phone and charge that as well everyone was very happy with this new gadget I purchased online from Walmart so I purchased a 2nd one for the kitchen and one for my bedroom these were the best purchases that I made and they were not that expensive moderately priced and everyone was happy. These outlets are great. I use them everywhere, a simple solution in this day and age where you need USB outlets everywhere.

we live in an house built in the early 1900s. We love it and its beautiful, but there aren't a lot of outlets. I bought this to help solve that issue and it has helped being able to have multiple ourlets.

What I wished is that some of the plugs would be on the side of the unit rather than straight across you have six outlets. But some of the things that you want to plug in I've got those big plug-ins so it would be ideal if he had the six outlets two on each side and then Four on the front plus the UPS and whatever they're called for your phone tablet that type of thing, I don't know what the proper terminology is, but I would really appreciated that

It was very loose in the plug %26 I couldn't get it to stay plugged it. I honestly don't know if it was my outlets or the item purchased.

This unit is not ready for Home use. It gets incredibly hot and should not have anything more than 500 W plugged into it. In my opinion, it is very dangerous.
