Oneida Teso 40-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set with Caddy (Service for 8)

Exactly what I was Expecting, and wanted. Elegantly simple design that is easy to clean (no surface details to scrub). Weighty construction, that is substantial, not thin and flimsy. With a highly polished surface that looks Great. note: The Spoons and Forks have handles with graceful, but pronounced curvertur. Easy to grip / hold.

I read many reviews of tableware prior to purchasing this set, and I'm very pleased with my choice. This set has a substantial weight, feels good while handling, and has retained its shiny finish. I purchased this set for the holidays (almost five months ago). I clean them in the dishwasher and they look great when finished. I would definitely recommend this flatware.

the Oneida Teso has a very good balance in your hand. Those with smaller hands will enjoy using this silverware. It perfectly fits! The caddy is very sturdy and fits well in a drawer.

This "Teso" design is exactly what I have wanted for years. Over time I've tried several designs, mostly Oneida, but there was always something, a "feel" I was missing. If you want lightweight utensils, keep looking. "Teso" has perfect heft, the perfect handle shape for a more secure grip, and the design is elegant, so esthetically pleasing...This stainless steel set is heirloom quality. I only wish I was as pleased with ALL my shopping finds!

I bought this to compliment the set like it that I already have. The new set is obviously smaller in width and lighter. It appears Oneida changed the way it's manufactured. That was a real disappointment.

the handle of the silverware is so much heavier than the part you eat off of. everytime we set them on our plate they slide off onto the dang floor, the wright should be more balanced so that doesnt happen

Overall, it's a nice looking design except for the large spoons that are the size of serving spoons. Unfortunately, I also question the material it may be made of since after only 1 week's use, 2 of the spoons and permanently discolored and will not appear clean. I have previously purchased this brand, and it lasted very well. The only reason I bought new is that, over the years, pieces were lost (likely accidentally thrown away).

The small spoons are fine, knives are fine, forks are fine; the problem is with the handle of the utensils- the rounded end is too big. The large spoons are HUGE like SERVING spoons. Oneida is usually spot-on with their products; however, they missed the mark on this one. If I didn't have to use them immediately, as I had nothing else, this would have been a sure return.

The knives rusted after a washing in the dishwasher. I was able to return them and Walmart was wonderful in accepting the return. I don't think I would recommend this particular set of silverware and would say that if you want to use your dishwasher to get the silver mixed with a bit of nickel instead of the pure stainless.

I love the quality and design of this Oneida flatware. BUT…the box clearly says EIGHT PIECES OF EACH SETTING. My box had SEVEN of each. I got ripped off, so count your pieces before you leave the store!
