This is a great addition to my 55 inch tv. well made. I had another brand that stopped working and I bought this ONN product that is well built. The remote is a solid piece that takes 2 AAA batteries. And the light stripe is easy to install after cleaning the surface with alcohol. Colors are bright and all function well. Very happy with purchase.

onn 6.6' Backlight for 55" I highly recommend this product. I easily adjusted to fit my 43" Amazon Fire TV It works great and the bass lights works right on cue when I'm watching/Listening to YouTube. Great Appearance Great Value price

Reduces eye strain
Fine for my needs, just needed some ambient lighting to reduce eye strain watching a bright box at night. Suits my needs perfectly. Just white light , which is really light blue

REMOTE control is not REMOTE!
the remote control is the main problem. i have to get up and point the remote to the back of the TV screen where the backlight is for it to work which defeats the purpose of the REMOTE control.

Crappy Onn Quality
The light strand is not long enough for 55" tv. Not controlable with app. Does not react to sound. Stays on when you shut the tv off, you have to use the lights remote for all functions. The lights are as crappy as the Onn tv I installed them on.

Trash don't buy!!
I bought three of these .. two was broken upon arrival and the other one was so twisted up on the roll it took almost 30 mins to install on back of a TV. just absolute trash. save your money or spend the extra dollar and get the monster brand. these are a waste of money.

FIRE HAZARD
Worst purchase of 2025. Don't buy unless you want to start a house fire or get severely burned. As soon as you plug these in the connecting wire gets EXTREMELY HOT! It left blisters on my partner and can definitely burn your house to the ground. Seriously do not buy if you love your life.

Don't waste your money
do not waste your money. as soon as I installed these the lights wouldn't change from different colors and stuck half on yellow while the rest of the lights changed. corners don't stick these are just a waste. I never plugged them in and finally just bought new ones off Amazon and threw these away. complete garbage.
