onn 8.1" Core Tablet, 64 GB, Android 16, Blue (2026 Model)

I actually managed to use the 2020 version of the 8" onn tablet up until this year. Still technically works, but it was still past time for an update and this is the one I waited for. Everything about this tablet is a reflection of onn's goals of providing quality products for standard settingly low prices. I can already tell that, short of some small disaster cutting it's life short, this tablet will be holding up as well as the last, so I'll be using this past 2030!

I received this free from influenster in exchange for my honest review. This is very sleek. It is android so you have all the perks of Android and the Google Play store. I have my Google account linked to it so when I took pics, they linked to my Google account and we're on my phone. Very nice. I enjoy this very much. Great to read on. I love reading so you can use ur favorite reading app

Fantastic little tablet! I'm very impressed with this device. The 90hz display is crisp and bright enough for indoor use (much smoother than the iPad Mini) and the build quality is as good or better than other budget tablets. I find myself using this tablet much more than my other larger, more expensive ones. The Snapdragon processor, while slightly dated, is fast enough for general use, and the 6GB of ram ensures fairly smooth usage, even though I do get the occasional stutter here and there. At this price point, there's no competition if you're looking for a small companion device to use on the couch or in bed. Onn did a great job with the 2026 tablets! I highly recommend it!

Finally! A reasonably price tablet for simple needs. Big enough to see without my readers, small enough not to get in the way all the time. lol It is being used exclusively as a mp3 player, web browsing when I'm away from my desktop computer, and when I plug in my external SSD, I can watch all the stuff I have stored on it. First time Android user, and I have to say that it is more intuitive than I had thought, being an iPhone user. Took hardly any time at all to get accustomed on a basic level, which is just my speed. Playing some tunes right now, through a little onn bluetooth speaker (which itself is an unbelievable value at $14!) and life is good! :)

This 8.1” tablet is powerful! It came fully charged, and when I turned it on I was very impressed with its responsiveness. It has up to 15 hours of battery life, and charges quickly. The 64 GB of storage is perfect and it has a convenient reading mode. I was also able to pair it with my phone. I like to read or scroll through social media on my phone, but I prefer this now because of the larger screen. I do have another tablet, but the ergonomics are larger so I don't use it as often as this. This one is slim and very lightweight. I can easily carry it in my purse without it feeling heavy. It's was really easy to set up, and user friendly for someone like myself who's not as tech savvy. Other features include a high resolution IPS LCD touchscreen, 2.8 GHz Octa-Core processor, 6 GB RAM, 64 GB storage expandable with a memory card reader, 2 MP front facing camera + 5 MP rear facing camera, and a lightweight aluminum body. It's perfect!

Minimal bloatware - very vanilla. Very solid build quality., Lower screen resolution/refresh is really not a problem in this size. Great value for ram - very snappy. Overall, extremely satisfied with the value for the money. Perfect for IPTV and Stemio/DebridStream when on the go.

i read all the reviews on here. there were a couple that said this is only a 'basic' tablet. honestly i would say to them that if you are looking for a heavy duty gaming tablet, yes look elsewhere. but you will also find that you have to spend over a lot more and to expect that kind of performance from a $138 unit is silly. For every day email, web surfing, facebook, etc, this is a very responsive unit and for me it's perfect.

Great for media consumption. Excellent for using social media or doing some stuff on the internet. Don't expect it to be as snappy as a high end device, yet it is incredibly responsive for its price that hasn't had any trouble switching between apps.

Use case: A "reliever" device for when I want to use a larger screen than my iPhone Pro Max. This tablet handles browsing well, checking email, playing music, and watching YouTube. The screen is bright and clear as expected at such a high refresh rate. I very much appreciate the lack of add-on applications. You get stock Android 16 and that's it. The amount of memory at 6 gigabytes is good; higher is better of course. Onboard storage is 64 gigabytes, expandable via SD card. Build quality is good and I was surprised the rear shell is metal. The USB C port is off center, which is odd, but has no impact on usage. Speakers on both ends are decent. There is no touch identification or facial recognition for unlocking the device, so you can only use a pin or passcode. One area worthy of note is the lack of case accessories. I have only found two and am using the official Onn case. Overall, this is a wonderfully priced small tablet that performs admirably. This tablet doesn't have the fastest processor, so it stutters at times, but it works well enough. It will perform well for casual users or those looking for an economically priced device.

I have a Samsung A9 that's my "main" tablet and my old Fire tablet was getting a little slow so I purchased this to replace the Fire as my bathroom tablet. It works good and is much quicker than the old Fire tab. I have this so I don't have a bunch of magazines in the bathroom and to play a couple games. Couple things that stink, Royal Kingdom has sound issue's, sometimes the audio is crackling and distorted. Same on Mahjong unfortunately. I tried clearing cache but sometimes it's still a crackling mess. Also for some reason the screen gets dirtier looking quicker than the Samsung. If the audio issue's could get fixed that would make it a better replacement for my old tab. Too bad because it is a well made quick tablet, maybe the new OS is the cause of the audio issue's.
