onn. HDMI DVD Player

Starlink failed for a few days so I broke out some old DVDs and no longer having a DVD player I needed something. This ONN player was inexpensive and easily connected go a hdmi port. It is working well and the picture and controls are satisfactory. I've been watching old movies I have not seen in over twenty years.

Great investment for a terrific dvd player that is just perfect for me ! Awesome price and great quality of dvd player, very good player, easy to handle and very easy to hook up and so little space it needs to be played! Love it and totally recommend this product!! 👍🏻😃😊✔️

I bought this item for my 6 year old daughter to watch the Land Before Time series and she loves it. It brings me joy to see her enjoy an item that I grew up using and a movie series we all love. It helps her rely less on all the apps and causes less arguments on what she is allowed to watch. I would recommend this to parents that are cutting down on main stream electronics and streaming platforms.

It has a compact size, starts up much faster than the poorly designed DVD player that it is replacing, and has a nice amber display. I love that it's powered from a USB port/adapter - I could use this in my car (with a 1200mA = 1.2A charger, or higher) It would be better if it had a little bit longer power cable, but that is easily fixable (via splicing in a longer wire - which will void your warranty / or use a USB extension cable - the best option) The remote is small and is a wall of buttons, with only two buttons color coded, but if that really mattered, a little bit of model paint or fingernail polish could fix that. So far it's a very nice DVD player for the money.

If you have a box of old DVD's that you want to watch this is an inexpensive option that works as intended. Picture quality low to mid quality. Remote is overall busy with buttons. I'm happy with this purchase as it's been a blast rewatching my box of DVD's.

Small, convenient dvd player. My dvd's are old so o can't say anything about the picture but it works well. Extremely easy to set up which is what I was looking for. I occasionally want to watch one of my favorite movies without having to search for it. The light stays on even when its power is off. That's bothers me. Also remote has too many buttons. It's perfect if you don't have a lot of space and occasionally want to watch an old dvd.

If I could give a negative stars I would. I order this as express delivery to my home for Father's Day. I get a message saying the package was delivered only to look at the photo and see someone else's garage. I immediately contacted support for a refund and they said they couldn't do it, and to wait for redelivery. Never happened. Called again and they said they couldn't find my account because my account was deactivated. But if my account is deactivated, how could I have ordered online? They told me to wait for an email about my account status. Never got that email. Now I'm out of $60 for a package that THEY delivered to the WRONG home

I've been using Onn DVD players for years and always liked them, in spite of the fact that they only last 12-18 months of daily use. This one, however, is rather complicated to use. The small eject button is directly beside the one for voice instructions, which is ear-piercingly loud with a volume that can't be adjusted. I have to use a flashlight to make sure I'm hitting the right button. The factory setting also includes automatic subtitles, which vary from French to Spanish depending on the DVD I'm using. Turning them off is easy enough, but I learned that through trial and error because there are no instructions for it. I have to do this for every DVD I play. About the only thing I do like is that there are now volume controls on the remote. The installation instructions were clear, but the operating instructions were practically nonexistent.

This thing quit working after about a week or two after I bought it. I can't believe it. I wouldn't recommend this to anybody. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement but you know the old saying “you get what you pay for.” Price does matter sometimes.

DO NOT BUY THIS. I homeschool my kids and we use video programs. Our dvd players were old and not working, so I bought two of these. I did have these for 2 full months and they both broke within a week of each other. One turned off at random times with in use and then it wouldn't work for the rest of that day. The 2nd one stopped reading disc. Many of them brand new. I wasted $80 for the pair. They're cheap and won't last. Spend a. Little more money and get a better DVD player
