Came across this item not knowing what to expect and learned quickly it's something I needed, badly lol. Now I'm not a YouTube star and I don't do videos to post online which, in reality is what this item is truly for I think but that being said I find myself using it a lot more in my daily life then i thought I would. Mainly in the kitchen. It's great to hold your phone while you read, look up, or watch a recipe or how to video, or video call a chef friend to ask for help and show them what u did lol. I'm a taller guy so it raises my phone up to a height where I can actually see it. I'm really glad I picked this up.
This little tripod works great. Easy to assemble and easy to use. You can put it on a table or hold it in your hand, either way it works good. Sturdy and seems to be made really well. I have had it for a couple of days and look forward to using it in the near future for other video sessions. If you are looking for a reliable tripod try giving thus one a try.
This is meant for a smartphone or GoPro but my DSLR is lightweight enough with a 50mm lens for this tripod that holds up to 2.2 lbs. There is a stem on the side that releases the ballhead for adjustment. Included is an adjustable smartphone cradle and an adapter I assume is for a GoPro. I'm impressed with the stability and sturdy build and a size to stow in a purse, backpack or large pocket. This will get used a lot.
This is an excellent little phone tripod and I love that it can be versatile. It's easy to set up and place your phone inside, ready to use! The ball pivots nicely so you can angle your phone to the spot needed and the legs are sturdy, holding the phone up. I like that this can be used for a GoPro too, for those that need it. I wanted this tripod, for holding my phone to take family videos during the holidays and it does it's purpose well. The compact size makes it easy for storing and traveling, so you can take it on trips with you, and it takes up to no at all!
This tripod makes a perfect holder for cell phones. I moves out of state and my granddaughter loves to video call me. I put my phone in the tripod on the coffee table in front of me and we can chat for hours. I can knit while chatting with her and she loves it! Also perfect for teaching my daughter new stitches in her knitting. With both my hands free I can show her exactly how to do them. The tripod is nice and compact, very sturdy and extremely simple to put together and use.
I like this and use it all the time. It has two places it can sit, on top or in front. It can do several angles. It is not very tall but I often sit it on a stack of books and it angles just fine. It only has one height, it will fall back to same one if you try to stand it up. That is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is because I would like it to be a bit taller. It locks tight around the fun and adjust to fit different size phones. It holds our iphone and samsung just fine. It folds up and is stored easily. It does not attached to the table it just rests there. I have noticed no damage or scratching.
This is a Tabletop Mini-Tripod that works with a smart phone, camera and GoPro cameras. The adjustable head allows much movement to get the correct position for the perfect camera shot - hands free! There is a cradle where your cell phone will sit but it was a bit hard to open. I found if you push your phone into it instead of trying to open it, you will get a better result. Supports up to 2.2 pounds and has non skid feet for a secure hold. The tripod also is collapsible so you can take it on your holidays. You will always be ready for that perfect shot. Overall, I am pleased with this tripod and will find many fun uses for it. It will make family picture taking much more fun and relaxing. A good product for your picture taking adventures.
The tripod is just OK. My biggest problem was the lack of instructions. I have a Samsung 8 plus and it took me a while to figure out how to utilize the cell phone holder. Without instructions I was able to pull the cell phone holder and see that it expands. The way the ball joint is supposed to be held in place doesn't work. If you shake or move the tripod the camera can tilt.
I received an onn. 5.5” Tabletop Mini Tripod to use and review. The product was well packaged in a thick box. It was supposed to come with the tripod, camera cradle and GoPro mount. The GoPro mount was not in my box, but I don't use a GoPro so I'm good with it. The Tabletop Mini Tripod sits 5.5 inches off the surface of what it is sitting on and is very sturdy. The Tripod is well made and easy to use. The instructions are pretty much nonexistent, but you can figure it out. The smartphone cradle is spring loaded and holds my phone well. You have to watch your fingers because it will pinch the skin in between the phone and the side of the cradle. My phone is older and three inches in diameter and barely fits. My daughters' Apple phones are much wider and won't go in. The cradle opens about three and an eighth inches maximum. It holds my phone and can be used nicely when video chatting with my kids. With it sitting in the Tripod, I no longer have to hold it in my hand while we are chatting. The onn. 5.5” Tabletop Mini Tripod does a good job holding my phone steady. It also holds my camera with the ¼-20 screw mount, which is the standard for most cameras. The instructions say to turn pivot lock knob to lock the pivot ball in place. I guess the instructions go to another version. The one I was sent has a spring loaded push button, which does nothing. The pressure on the ball is sufficient and holds my camera or phone at whatever angle I set it. It also says the tripod is height adjustable, but it is not. You spread the legs out on it and that is the height. It's compact and light and easy to take with you. For less than ten dollars it's not a bad little tripod. I will use it for my video chatting and it works well for that.
I really had high hopes for this tripod. I have a never ending list of zoom meetings and conference calls that occur on a weekly basis. This ONN tripod should have been my solution to the problem of propping up my phone on various objects at hand. The product description claims it will support 2.2 pounds (1Kg). I weighed my phone. It was 7 ounces (just under 0.2 Kg). That should be a snap to hold that phone. Unfortunately, unless the phone is oriented exactly the way I show in the photos, the weight of phone causes the pivot ball to droop The product description calls out a thumb screw that you can tighten to lock the tripod ball in place. In reality, there is no thumb screw. Instead, there is a spring loaded button you are supposed to push down to release the ball socket. The pressure the spring provides is way to weak to hold the ball in place. Any weight greater than six ounces is too heavy. If you have a featherweight phone or camera this will work. Anything more than that and you are out of luck.
