We got these to help my brother in recovering after hospital stay where he could still have independence and privacy but he could get someone fast if needed after partial paralysis and these did the job..clear and loud! Definitely dont regret the purchase and when these need replaced hopefully not for long while, will most likely be gotten again!

Love these walkies! Bought them to communicate with my SO when they're in the sleeper in my truck, so I had mine plugged into the charger the whole time (w/o the batteries), which killed the walkie, so I had to replace them. My advice - don't use the charging cord. They don't have a built in battery to charge. Just use the provided batteries and save the cord for something else!

Reception is excellent, charging and battery is excellent, range is too!!! Alot of kids around here like to play on them so don't use the suggested channel, pick a specific one or the kids will bug you all night long until wee hours in the morning. They got out of hand with it other than that these little walkie talkies are 5 star. Definitely recommend!!!

Bought these for a cross-country move we were doing where we needed to communicate between two vehicles in very remote areas without reliable mobile service. These little guys had GREAT battery life, being on for 12 hour shifts over 4.5 days without showing any battery drain. They were always clear in our comms back-and-forth. They do operate on CB channels, I think, but don't quote me on that (so you do run into some interference with other folks when traveling, but it doesn't last long).

it's good if you got a person with a health issues that you need to keep an eye on I can use these me and my wife she's a stroke victim we keep in communication anywhere I am will it be in the yard or across the road at my neighbor's house just a good communication for reasonable price!

These walkie-talkies were great. The only downside is that they will pick up somebody else's walkie-talkies further down the street. Other than that they were great battery last long easy to use great product.

I give it 4 stars only because, when I first received it was missing one handset so I had to go through the trouble to call and get replacement.. with that being said Walmart was fantastic at taking care of the return and facilitating a replacement. Only used 2 times. So far great! Very clear and multiple ring options. Excited to use on the river over a larger area.. also good to have for emergency communication to to service on the water.

it's a good walkie-talkie dirty notl light and made out of cheap stuff but they dint work very far away when theres trees and building's around. maybe a mile althought the battery with lastt DAYSSSS cannot co n plain bout that

well put them on the same channel and took them 2 miles apart and they did not communicate back and forth after maybe quarter of a mile ... says 16 mile range distance. I bought them for the distance and this was just short distance.... maybe I should have paid 60 for the unlimited range ones ... figured almost $40 was plenty for 16 mile range.....

I want it replaced the batteries blew in one and I got acid on my hands, no major damage. so all I want is it replaced for free and no I don't want to pay for shipping either
