very sturdy handle. i decided to use on dry feet and because of the curved design it took a while to use. did a great job on my feet. the plastic backing is hard to remove to dump out the shavings and hard to put over the bladed side for storage.

The only thing I noticed was that the skin that you are removing comes back thru the holes If you don't keep the grater side face up. Very sharp so need to be careful. My heels are very dry and it worked wonderful on them.

My feet have been covered with painful, huge callouses for 20 years. I tried everything. Two podiatrists couldn't fix the problem. I finally have found the solution for me; wash my feet with baby wash and rinse. Then I make sure my feet are wet, put the wash on again, cover my feet with a disposable, plastic booty %26 socks for 2 hours(avoid walking during this time- slippery), rinse them and go to work with this great tool. Be careful so you don't accidentally rub it across healthy skin- OUCH! It doesn't take long for the callouses on the back of my big toes to get very tender, despite the dead skin, so I leave them be and work on another area. Having a big, well-constructed, metal tool is what I needed all along. I hope this helps.

This is THEE best ever! Only use after a bath or shower, otherwise it will not work as intended. Purchase a good foot cream to use afterwards, and you won't need a pedicure. Well worth it. I purchase for family as well.

Had a corn on the bottom of my foot and was tired of going to the dermatologist to get it removed. Ordered this and the footsie pumice stone and it's been so easy to take care of myself! So easy to use, great quality as well!

I bought this to replace a foot file that I misplaced while moving. I bought this one because it had good reviews and I figured, a foot file is a foot file. But this one is awful, at least on dry feet. Maybe that's my mistake because the directions say to use on soaked feet. My old foot file worked fine on both soaked and dry feet. This one very easily tears skin. My foot feels rougher after using it. I hate it. I would give it a 1 star but maybe it's great in the shower. I don't know because I'll be throwing this out and repurchasing the one I misplaced.

Purchased to use with callus spray. It looks nice, surface does smooth a bit, but the debris catcher is poorly made. The plastic is thin and doesn't hold anything on the sides. More ended up on the floor than on the trap. For the price, I'd expect better and would not recommend. Needs more clips to hold the debris catcher on or snap in setup.

This tool cut into the heel of one foot in several places, which bled. And I didn't see the cancer warning until afterward, which was a small note on the bottom of the carton. The listing on Walmart's website does have this notation, but it's buried at the bottom of the page. I wouldn't recommend this tool to anyone.

I think I would have loved this product. It is exactly what I was looking for. However, Walmart's delivery driver was unable to correctly read the mailbox and or huge rock with the house number on it and did, in fact, deliver it to some obscure neighbor, so, I never used or even saw this product.

How is it possible for one of these to just not work at all? This is worse than the old one I intended to replace. It's completely ineffective. Does nothing.
