Just know they do come in different weight options. I like the 100 pound weight because I know I may place an item that is weighty on the wall but I also know I am not going to place an item that is 100 pounds or more on the wall. They are easy to use and stay put. Remember, there is weight options and each packet relays the up to allowed weight.

In the past, I've used generic Wall Dawg screws for heavier and/or large picture hanging. The OOK Borefast Hangers are a step above, and have easily become my go-to hanger. The short nub post on the end makes screwing them into sheetrock simple - straight and secure every time. And the nub stands off just the right amount. No guessing as to how far a screw should go. OOK is known for great quality hanging hardware you can count on, and the Borefast Hangers are a welcome addition.

I used these “Ook Borefast Picture Hangers” to inexpensively and easily hang a 35 pound mirror above my bed. The job called for four screws onto which four loop hooks on the back of the mirror hang. Using my driver, each screw went in quickly with just a little pressure. Only the paint chipped, as one would expect, as the point of the hanger went into the wall. No cracking occurred on my 1965 plaster walls, and the plate of the screw stopped flush with the wall leaving the screw head available for hanging. Perfect. This product made this one of the easiest hanging projects ever. I'm confident with the strength of the screws in the plaster that this mirror is not going fall! Unlike the angled tap in nail plate products with the hook, this multi-use hanger is able to easily go into the stud if there is one available—increasing the holding strength. With or without finding a stud, the product does what it says it will do! I will buy this again! Awesome product? YES!

We used two of these set into neighboring studs to support a large oil painting. We wanted to go for overkill on this, and weren't sold on the hooks that have multiple nails and claim to be rated for equal weight. There were a few too many reviews with pictures of the hooks folding right open. The screws did a great job boring into the studs, though there will be holes to patch in the drywall if ever removed. Will also be putting these to use hanging a metal art piece next.

Worked great. I used it to hang a 40lb, 48” round mirror. The mirror only had a single keyhole for installation. I installed it into the stud to get the 100lb weight capacity. Otherwise, in drywall it's only 30lbs.

Ok so I was a little skeptical....... we have and old house with plaster walls. Very hard to drill in anything into them. But these anchors were magical! Seriously took hardly any effort at all to screw in with a drill! And they hold up to 100 lbs! I wish I had these when we first moved in to hang up everything! They are the best ! I will never use anything other than these going forward. No more plastic anchors and the mess they make!

My husband is in the process of setting up / organizing his work bench and garden tools in our garage. Some of these items are really heavy. He made sure these screws were put in a stud - which is important when attaching heavy tools. He's extremely happy with them. No bending, no popping out!

No pilot hole is needed as they have a self drilling tip. This is a real time saver. They are an inch and a half long and are made of steel so they are very durable. Items hung using these hangers must not exceed the pound limit set by the manufacturer. You will want to use these hangers if you are hanging a 60 pound clock, for instance, or framed pictures in a stud. Or hanging a 25 pound picture on drywall. Take care not to hang over 100 pounds using two hangers, in drywall. The pound limit applies whether one or two hangers is used. OOK, by Hillman, and made in Taiwan, has many different picture hanger offerings at Walmart. Also found by OOK are wire, picture hanging kits, mirror holder clips, sawtooth hangers, and other items for the handy person. Hillman acquired the OOK brand products in 2011. Hillman has been around since the 1960s and has a huge variety of offerings for the home, introducing new things into the marketplace regularly.

This hanger is rated for 30 pounds in drywall and 100 pounds if installed into a stud. There is no doubt in my mind that it would hold. It is very substantial and when installed flush, you will have 1-1/4" of penetration into the stud or wall. It has aggressive cutting threads so you don't have to predrill before installation. But if you are going to install into hardwood, I would still recommend predrilling. You will need a hanging wire or a large hanger fitting to fit your object onto it.
