Soft and much easier for my toddler to use than the crayons that fit on a finger or in palm. These are a great design with an adorable cap design, encouraging kiddos to put the caps back on when they're finished coloring! The crayons write smooth %26 effortlessly. My son only liked markers until I bought him these. These are the first crayons he has really enjoyed. I got the idea of crayons like this because I noticed he was very frustrated at how little the traditional toddler crayons actually color. He was also having difficulty providing enough pressure to mark, but not so much as to snap the conical shaped crayons. But these crayons he is doing very well with, and he loves to make his artwork by sliding them across his coloring pages. Each crayon is VERY waxy smooth and writes like silk!

These gel crayons are amazing! Super easy clean up, extremely bright colors and loads of fun! My grandson plays with these all the time! He uses the large front window as his canvas and has a blast! They are a bit expensive but we have greatly enjoyed using these!! I wish they were more affordable but I would definitely recommend these! So shocked at the brightness of these colors!!

These crayons are a great art activity for kids. Incredibly smooth texture and bright colors. However, beware that they are a bit messy, and once applied to paper the color will easily rub off on other surfaces.
