I purchased this as a replacement for my old oral b toothbrush that stopped working after I had it for 11 years. This one is an upgrade because it has three different brushing speeds. The only thing it doesn't have that my previous one had is the charging indicator, it would have been nice for that to be included with this one but it's not that important. Overall, this is a great electric toothbrush if you are looking for one without all of the bells and whistles.

So far I am very satisfied. Unfortunately, there is no lamp on the toothbrush with which you can see the charge level. But that's down to the manufacturer and not Walmart itself.

This is my second purchase of the Oral-B Pro 500 Electric Toothbrush, my first one lasted several years, my new one works just as well, it cleans my teeth great at a reasonable price, my dental hygentist always compliments me on how well my teeth look, it has everything to do with this toothbrush.

Where has this thing been all my life!? I've been using a “cheap” electric toothbrush for the past 15 or so years. I've always wanted to switch to a smaller head and a better brand. Man am I glad I did. I had no idea toothbrushes could be this effective. I literally feel like I left the dentist after a cleaning. The different settings are an excellent option for those who need it less or more intense. The only con would be it doesn't have a charging indicator light. Not a huge issue but would be perfect with that feature. Highly Recommend!!!

Love the Oral-B Pro 500. Very efficient and effective toothbrush. It has 3 brush speeds. I used the fastest. No need for more expensive electric toothbrushes that have features I would never use.

I like the 3 speeds and the timer (every 30 seconds and after 2 minutes). Also because it sits on the counter next to the bed the lack of a charging light is very important. Only a couple of things I'd love it did are ability to lock my favorite speed and for it to automatically turn off after the 2 minutes are up.

Works well with three speeds, although I cant imagine using the slow speeds. I didn't realize there was no LED to show charging status. When charging there is no indication that the toothbrush is charging or completely charged.

The bristles are so hard, it is like using a wire brush on your teeth. They are so hard, that it does not get between the teeth, or anywhere but the outside. I am going back to a traditional brush, because that is much better, and not as much of a mess as this one it.

Not enough vibration created. Upgrade to next generation to achieve the results you desire. I stop using it and forgot to return and now my window of opportunity has closed.
