10/10 recommend!

HannahJo November 22, 2025

This is coming from someone with sensitive gums, who had a bone graft, implant, filling, etc. this year (due to my med action as we’ve recently figured out). I didn’t have my first cavity until college, so this last year has been a trip. I cannot tell you what a relief finding this toothbrush has been. Day one - so far, I love it. It’s only been a day, but one brush made a VERY noticeable difference already. I’ve had a lot of issues lately with my teeth, so my dentist recommended the oral b io series (which are $80-$300 ish dollars depending on which model you get). Honestly, you don’t need to spend that much money when this toothbrush works incredibly well %26 the price point pushes it to perfection. The design is cute as can be. I love the pink color. It’s charging well. I’m learning how to work the timer part still, but it seems almost as easy as a manual tooth brush, with the added effect of BRILLIANT results. My teeth haven’t felt THIS clean in so long. I normally used the Burst tooth brush, or a manual toothbrush, but I recently learned the Burst type of toothbrush (and/or other types of vibrating tooth brushes) don’t actually clean like they’re supposed to. They just vibrate. The oral b actually spins and does this motion that seems like it would feel intense—but it didn’t. I was able to use it with an implant screw in (I have to get the implant put in next month). Anyway, I definitely cannot say enough good things about this toothbrush. Again, it’s only one day so if anything changes I’ll update my review, but I have a feeling if anything negative happens it’ll be battery related, not toothbrush related. I don’t see myself going back to any other type of toothbrush again after today, that’s for sure.

The Oral B 1000 is a good toothbrush with 3 speeds

Peter November 9, 2025

This Oral B Pro 1000 toothbrush works just great. It has three speed levels. I use the fastest oscillation level -- this may be too strong for some of you -- but it's great for me. Every so often, however, my teeth and gums are a bit sensitive. When this occurs, the slower toothbrush speed is appreciated since the toothbrush is more gentle at the slower speeds. I also like that it has a small blinking light while it's charging. The base model Oral B toothbrush does not. I also like that I can use my generic toothbrush heads from Amazon.com. I have a lot of them. This Oral B Pro 1000 toothbrush device still uses the original Oral B toothbrush heads. In contrast, the more expensive upscale Oral B IO models use a completely different toothbrush head. That means you have to buy the more expensive IO toothbrush heads for the IO models. I don't want to sound too cynical, but I feel it's just another way for Oral B to make more money -- the way Apple forces you to get new chargers and replace as much as possible with every new iPhone you purchase. Newer doesn't always mean better. Sometimes, it just means more expensive. But not for this basic, original, but highly efficient model. The Oral B Pro 1000 is a very good efficient toothbrush.

Clean Teeth!

Teri October 29, 2025

Boy my teeth feel clean after using this! I had been using the non-rechargablr battery Oral B which I liked, but this is really superior, the spin is much more powerful. The grip could be better, but no stars off for that, and after one week's use; the battery did not last a week, but I use it more than 2 times a day, longer than 2 minutes. It takes almost 24 hours to charge, but really that's not an issue, it just sits on the charger until it's ready which takes no effort. I'm very glad you got this.

The Braun Crossaction Electric Toothbrush is excellent. The battery stays charged longer and it doesn't turn off while I'm brushing. I'd prefer the on/off switch to be convex shaped and require less pressure on my fingers to activate. These toothbrushes last a long time

Best Electric Toothbrush

Nanaof3 July 18, 2025

I have been using an Oral B Electric Toothbrush for at least a decade. It is the best for getting teeth really clean and your guns really healthy. While the toothbrush doesn't last forever, it does last a verylong time before the need to buy a replacement. I would recommend the Oral B to anyone!

On/Off Switch no good

James February 17, 2026

This Oral-B Pro 1000 replaces my 20 year old Oral-B Triumph. The actual brushing seems improved but i do not like on/off button. Switch function is very slow to respond ( has to cycle through two functions before turns off ). I don't expect it to last as long as my old one did.

No finger grips!

Valerie March 30, 2026

I've used Oral-B electric toothbrush's for years %26 they have now discontinued the finger grips on the handle, bad move! The handle is constantly falling out of my hand into the sink. I'm afraid it is going to break. Also, the battery barely lasts through one brushing!

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" Terrible remake of the original model. (1) There is no grip; your hand slides easily on the handle, rather than gripping. (2) The worst part is the Off switch. I've used the brush 1,000 times and could never press the right spot to turn it off. Just today I figured out that you have to press Off 3 times!! Three times!! Seems like something is also off on the 15 second quadrant vibration. My husband and I both have this same model, so it's not a fluke, rather a flaw. I would buy another brand. Additionally, I've always been a fan of Oral B floss, but that now shreds and the floss always gets lost inside the container.

Broke after 5 days, brush head too large

Charles December 1, 2025

I was very disappointed with this toothbrush. After just five days, it failed! Turning on and refusing to shut off. I had no choice but to leave it buzzing on the bathroom floor while I was at work. On top of that defect, the brush head itself was oversized and uncomfortable, especially when trying to reach my molars. The design simply didn’t work for me. Thankfully, Walmart processed a full refund, so there was no financial loss. Still, between the malfunction and the poor fit, this product was a letdown. I would not recommend it.

DON'T BUY THIS

james April 2, 2026

toothbrush has stopped working after just over a month! I have 3 other electric toothbrushes that I alternate using, so this one has been used very little. Oral b used to make a good product, but apparently, this is no longer the case!!!! TERRIBLE PRODUCT
