This my go-to organic potting soil. I trust it. It will take any amendments you want to put ot it. If I had an unlimited budget, I might try the Maine Coastal - I use their raised bed soil, but I am on a very limited budget and this is at the top of it. A little splurge. Try it!
Best price for a large 32 quart bag, especially for an organic mix. Very light and pourous mix. It's not a compacted mix. if there are chunks you can brake them apart very easily eith your hand or water it and it breaks apart. Also bags are not heavy when you're moving them around.
Espoma Organic Potting Soil Mix has made a big difference with my container plants indoor %26 outdoors. I was skeptical but quickly have seen it's worth paying a bit more.
I always have great success with germination rate and plant growth with Espoma Seed Starter Mix and Potting Mix.
Great product price and fast delivery
I am impressed. It wasn't loaded down with water to make it weigh more! I'll be buying it again.
I've been using this organic soil for years now. I constantly keep fresh grass for my indoor cat and this is the best soil! It keeps its moisture the whole time. I only have to water his grass once when I very first plant it.
I wasted years using Miracle Gro, which was wet, moldy, smelled and killed my plantings. I switched to Espoma a few years ago and am still delighted with its price, performance, everything. I doubt I will ever switch back. AND there's no mold to activate my allergies! I even give it for gifts.
I purchased three bags of this potting mix for some indoor containers that I was planting. One of the bags had what looked like fresh soil throughout. The second bag was half in half with clumped up dirt that looked as if it had been sitting off somewhere and forgotten until an unwitting purchaser such as myself placed the order. The third bag was full of old clumped up, dry, dead looking soil. I will not purchase this soil again, as it was highly regarded but I assume that the company picks and chooses who receives a quality product.
Never again full of bugs and don't drain well
