I have no complaints about this product, but was happy to hear it was Consumer Lab's top pick. They're like, ConsumerLab's overall Top Pick among Approved psyllium products (including those sold as supplements, foods, and OTC drugs) was selected for having the least contamination from lead, the right amount of pure psyllium husk, the correct amounts of soluble and insoluble fiber, and proper usage instructions. It was also relatively inexpensive." I'll continue to use this.
My family has taken psyllium for many years now and Yerba Prima is the brand we always go for. It helps so much with the added fiber to keep things regular every day! We always have some in the house. We are just trying this organic version as well. Love it!
I have had intestinal problems for years. I decided to take this after struggling with fissures and hemorrhoids after childbirth. The taste is not bad, and seems to work well to alleviate constipation and hard stools. This organic fiber is a quality choice if you're concerned about contaminants and glyphosate. I would recommend consuming it in juice rather than water to help it go down easier.
Yerba Prima's Organic Psyllium Whole Husks are an effective fiber supplement. They mix well in liquids and provide a good source of fiber. The 12 oz package is a good value for the quantity. Overall, I highly recommend these psyllium husks for those looking for a natural fiber supplement.
I have used Psyllium fiber for years. I like this much better being organic. I just mix it in water with a splash of orange juice.
Shake it up in a shaker! With water, juice whatever!
It's a great addition to add if you need extra fiber! Make sure you drink it fast because it does gel up if you leave it for a while in liquids
Recommended by Dr. Brad because he said that this is the only brand that does not have pesticides. I love it.
Quantity and potency verified by a science based independent test lab, to which I pay a yearly subscription.
I wanted to increase fiber intake and use it as a substitute for eggs in my recipes. It was fine but my concern was the possibility of contamination with heavy metals (which is very common for psyllium) . I see this is organic but still I stopped using it. Maybe I'm paranoid or something..
