Delicious and fast cooking, very easy to make and goes well in stews, soups, casseroles or on their own with some veg. They can be a little mushy if overcooked, but otherwise they are yummy. Fast shipping, all things considered.

tasty red lentils
Made my first lentil wraps with these red lentils and they're delicious. I was concerned when the box came since the heavy duty plastic bag had a tear in it, so we lost about a cup inside the box. Resealable bag makes it easy to scoop out exactly the amount I need.

Price too high
OK, you got me. I like that they are organic (and all of the other buzzwords). They are severely overpriced. I can get 16 oz for $5.12. Twice the amount for $3.35 less.

Lentils are old.
I bought 10 pounds and wish I had not bought so much. The packaging is very nice but the lentils are old. I have tried cooking them slow, cooking them fast, soaking them over night - nothing helps. They look like they are in the package, just a little softer. I prefer my curried lentil soup mushy. That is the reason I buy red lentils.
