I LOVE this shampoo (and conditioner combo). This was my first time trying any of the Oribe products and they did not disappoint. I have naturally black hair but recently bleached my whole head blonde, and now only shampoo once or twice a week. It makes my hair look, feel, and smell GREAT. The purple tint combats brassiness. As with many high end products, a little goes a long way and I was shocked by how much a small amount of this shampoo lathered in my hair. The formula is thick and packs quite the punch.

I recently had caramel highlights put in my hair. My stylist suggested I go with a purple shampoo that would prevent fading, brassiness, and oxidizing. I immediately emailed the manager of my Space NK counter and she recommended Bright Blonde Shampoo for Beautiful Color. I have been using this all summer and found even after going to the beach and swimming my color is still bright and beautiful. A small amount goes a long way!

I have been using this Oribe Blonde line, shampoo & conditioner, for a couple years now. It revives & keeps my highlights fresh, even months after a hair appointment. I usually wash my hair w/ regular shampoo first, (I recommend the Gold Lust line) then apply this shampoo, followed by the Blonde conditioner, and let each product sit in the hair for approx. 5-10 minutes each. It gets rid of the brassiness every time! P.S. Only use this duo x1/week though, or your hair will get lighter.

Well I think this shampoo works well and works as promised, but is it worth all that money? It seems like a fairly typical salon quality shampoo. Works just the same as several lower priced brands. I just bought the hype and wanted to try it. I don't think I'll buy it again unless it's half the price. It did tone my hair- let the shampoo sit for 5 min on my brassy blonde, and it cut through that yellow.

I use this in conjunction with Cristophe Robin's BabyBlonde mask and am finding my tone lasts much much longer (I shampoo every other day). My hair and scalp feel clean without feeling stripped which is great when it's dry from bleaching. I like to follow up with Oribe's moisturizing cream (while damp) on fly aways. The scent is great in the shower but doesn't overpower and linger in the hair after drying which I can appreciate.

Bit the bullet and paid the $40 for this shampoo because a hairdresser on the internet did a comparison rating of purple shampoos. He rated it the best of 8 tested. In my opinion, it did less to get the yellow out than most shampoos I've tried. Save your money.

Dried my hair out. It took quite a while to rehydrated my hair after discontinuing use. Not worth it.
