I purchased it for my grandchild. It's just like the ones for the 90's! It does make a beeping sound, every time it needs something. Great product overall.

I couldn't find the item anyplace then Walmart came through with it at a better price!

I loved these when I was a kid and just had to get them for my girls, so easy to play and fun and teaches you to take care of your animals. My girls love them.

This gadget is fun for younger children. It does well with keeping children actively engaged. The attention required to keep the digital pet alive promotes responsibility and positive challenges.

I had a Tamagotchi as a kid and have such fond memories of carrying it everywhere and taking care of it. I even remember receiving mine for my 9th birthday, and it felt so special. So, for my daughter's 9th birthday, I decided to get her one... and she absolutely loved it! As soon as she opened it, my then-16-year-old daughter couldn't resist either. She thought it was too cute, and since her birthday was coming up next month, I bought her one as well. Now both of my girls are completely smitten with these little electronic pets. I love that this simple, adorable device can still capture their attention and bring joy in today's fast-paced digital world. It's a nice break from screens and a fun way for them to practice responsibility. The only downside is that the batteries do drain fairly quickly, but I'm happy to keep replacing them as long as it keeps putting smiles on my girls' faces. If you had a Tamagotchi as a child and loved it, there's something really special about sharing that same joy and nostalgia with your kids. Watching them enjoy it as much as I did brings back all the happy memories for me and creates new ones for them.

I wanted the 90s aesthetic Tamagotchi, but they sent me this one instead, which is a minor nitpick but it was a little disappointing. Nonetheless, the battery on this Tamagotchi is spectacular! I've had this thing for months and the battery life is still going strong. I wouldn't reccommend bringing it with you everywhere, however, as it is loud and distracting.

The battery life isn't log on this thing. Got my daughters 11/6. Literally died today. She enjoyed it while it lasted.

This is really cute, but kids just don't play with them long. My niece just got this and has already stopped playing with it. She complains that it goes off constantly and she tried hiding it in a drawer, but it still annoyed her.
