Ortho Weed B Gon Plus Crabgrass Control Weed Killer, Ready-to-Use Trigger Sprayer, 1 gal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Weed B Gone is a great product. Very effective on a variety of weeds, yet does not harm the lawn. Weeds shrivel and die in a matter of days. I've been using this product for years and will continue to use it as long as I own a home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Ortho Weed B Gon for years for spot treatment. I keep my lawn well fertilized so I don't have many weeds, making a few sprays easy to do. Love my neighbor but he doesn't do anything to his lawn except mow. His side yard is being taken over by chickweed so I have a challenge keeping the weed out of my lawn. Look at the pic to see how effective Weed B Gon is at killing chickweed! (The white dots on the grass are blossoms from a nearby crab apple tree.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Killed a patch of clover with one application. Some more resilient weeds may need additional application. Great for pointed treatment. If you need a broader treatment area, I recommend the sprayer option. However, the jug is large enough that this is not a concern. The batteries in the wand may run out before the product does! If that's the case then I am happy to pick up more batteries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sprayed this product on some actively growing dandelions and early growing clover and the plants were wilting the next day. The grass around them was unharmed! Great product and the self powered wand makes application very easy!

My crabgrass was very bad & I wanted to try this since they said it was a crabgrass control. It worked great as far as killing the crabgrass but what do I do afterwards? Does it just go away on it's own or am I going to have to rake it out? Do I need to seed the area? Thank you

Well thanks to Ortho Weed B Gon MAX I followed directions and after a few days the weeds stated to turn brown and curl up and die, thanks to this great product for being available across the the United States...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sprayed this in the morning and by the next day my weeds in the grass were 90% dead without harming my actual grass areas. The section of crab grass I had is completely dead and gone. I'm sure within a week I'll have only grass and it looking very nice.

Our household uses many products by Othro, so I was familiar with how to install/open the bottle and prepare the ready to use wand. The spray wand is so easy to install and use. It same you from not only hand cramps but from getting any of the liquid on your hands. I also like the easy locking mechanism on the handle. I used Weed B Gon on two different patches that I gave to constantly weed near by deck/little sidewalk area. I gave never used any other weed products by this area because I also have a bunch flowers and plants that I worry will be effected. The smaller patches of weeds dried up or started to die off within a day of Weed B Gon treatment. The bigger patch of crabgrass had parts that were dying or dried off, which made it easier to pull them out. What really impressed me was my flowers and other plants weren't bothered. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was slightly skeptical when I first applied Ortho Weed B Gon Plus Crabgrass Control Ready To Use, something that got rid of weeds without harming my lawn sounded too good to be true. My lawn had been overrun with dandelions and clover, so I gave it a try. I am happy and surprised that after using this product my lawn has virtually no dandelions and alot less clover.

I was reluctant to even try the product because it seemed to good to be true. Turns out it was. I applied in the manner directed, even going on the safe side of amount applied and within 2 days everything was dead. Yes, that included my beautiful Kentucky bluegrass that was the envy of the neighborhood. I'm now left with patches of dead spots where I applied the product which is rather embarrassing. Do not use if you want your grass to live. I even watered with my irrigation system before they recommended watering but that did not slow the kill of the grass.
