I have always loved the Classic 76 so it was a no-brainer trying the cordless version but don't no if I have a refurbished or the quality has declined as I keep having tighten the blade housing. The clipper works great otherwise

I have the Oster 76 clippers with the cord. I have used those for over 23 yrs. I purchased these to have as backup, and I was not pleased with them at all. The motor is loud, and the motor is not as fast as the ones with the cord. I didn't like the weight of the battery either. The battery obviously sits at the bottom, and you feel that when you move your wrists every possible way, you can. And if you are developing carpal tunnel, just don't do it. I will be semding them back.
