OtterBox Symmetry Series Case for iPhone X, Black

Bought the Otterbox case for my new phone and just dropped the phone two days ago. It hit the concrete pretty hard and I thought the worst. After picking up the phone and examining it I found that not only did the phone survive in great shape, the Otterbox didn't have a scratch on it either! This case is bulletproof. The Symmetry case is about as thin as I've seen without compromising on functionality and protection so it's not as bulky and cumbersome as other cases I've used on previous phones.

The Symmetry case offers excellent back and side protection for iPhoneX. As for the front, one can put an ‘invisi-glass' type of screen protector for complete protection. Considering the expense of iPhoneX and the fact that the front and back are glass, it gives one peace of mind to seek out the right degree of protection for the phone even if some would argue against it on the grounds that the glass is Gorilla glass. Here, then, are some noteworthy points about this case: * It allows the phone to sit in a recessed manner in the case. So the phone's body is protected in a bumper-style manner. Thus, if one drops the phone and it lands on one of its corners, the case's bumper rather than the phone's glass will take the brunt of the impact just as a good protector should do. I would add that due to the way in which the case ‘cuddles' the phone, the dimensions of a front protector screen should so chosen as to prevent the screen's edges from contacting the case's bumper and losing its ability to completely adhere to the phone. * The ‘recessed' aspect mentioned above applied to the lens as well so that if one places the camera down, face up, the lens will not be touching a hard surface. Gorilla glass or not, that is a good protective feature for the iPhoneX's lens. * Symmetry offers a good grip all around its sides. Holding the case, one feels that the case won't just slip out of one's hand like a smoother [faux] leather case might tend to do.

I love this case. Protective and awesome. Clean but retro. It's perfect and exactly what I wanted. I love the clear case with a bit of deco. Shows the gorgeous phone underneath and works w. my Pop Socket. LOVE LOVE LOVE

I just got the iPhone X an wanted to make sure I had a high quality case to protect it. The symmetry series doesn't add too much bulk but offers a good amount of protection. I only wish it came in more colors or patterns.

Went thru 4 cases for new iPhone X and didn't like any of them. Had a symmetry for 6 plus and liked that. This is thinner and provides great protection.

I have use a symmetry case on my last 3 phones and this case works great for my iPhone X. This case isn't too bulky and my Zagg screen protector fits perfectly with this case.

I solely bought this case because I had it for my iPhone 7 and absolutely loved it. Well, after using it for about a week now on my iPhone X, this case is definitely my favorite case. Otterbox did an awesome job designing and producing this case. I HIGHLY recommend this case to any iPhone X consumers. It fits perfectly on the phone. It has protected my phone ever since I began using it. This case does an awesome job protecting my phone. This case is the No. 1 case I recommend to any iPhone X user.

This is a very durable case! I really like the dark red color and it fits perfect on my iPhone X. Unfortunately it's a little bit bulky, but if you want to protect your phone well this is the best choice I think.

I had this case for my last phone. Dropped it down a flight of 18 concrete stairs and it survived without a crack! So when I bought a new phone, I went straight to Otterbox Symmetry. The only thing I don't like is that the light color of the case is turning blue from being in my jeans pocket after only 2 weeks.

I have used this for around a month and it looks great! Only issue I have is it can be a bit slippery to hold. Other cases I have used are not like this. Please fix in the future
