OUAI Detox Shampoo 10 oz

I was looking for many times appropriate shampoo to wash off all build up fat from my head which didn’t succumb any shampoo . And I found !!!! Great product ! Small amount erases out fat hair for one time! Thanks Jesus, our industry is still alive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is truly one of the best detox shampoos I have ever tried! It smells floral which I really like, and cleans my fine greasy hair so well. It lathers into a very fine bubbly texture from a gel and it cleans the hair without completely stripping it and drying it out. It does not dry out my scalp if I use it once a week, but more than that I will get some dryness which is expected. This will increase my time between washes by about 2 days which is a lifesaver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very dry coily hair so I am careful about what I put in my hair. Protein is one of those ingredients i am unsure about because it can be drying. But I decided to give it a shot.So the positive 1st. Ouai detox acv Shampoo with keratin was extremely good at cleaning my hair. I get alot of product build up since I wear protective styles like twists and braids for an extended period of time. The shampoo had really good lather and removed all dirt and build up with ease. My hair looked and felt sneaky clean with little effort. It also left my hair smelling pretty good despite having Acv. I immediately followed up with the OUAI repair balm to get some moisture back but that had protein in it too. So I used a deep conditioner as well. I think i had a little less shedding than usual and my hair looked fuller. Now the down side. My hair was not nearly as moisturized as when I use my other products. It felt drier and a bit harder.( I had to skip my deep moisture mask because it also has bond repairing ingredients. That may be the reason for dryness so I can't say if the shampoo is drying for sure.) So I think it may have made my hair stronger but drier. It might work for dry hair types if you only use it once in a while and pair it with very moisturizing ingredients.

I found that double cleansing with this was a bit too much for my hair, so I only recommend a single wash unless you have exceptionally oily hair or tons of buildup. Overall, I like it for a once weekly clarifying shampoo!

My hair is already dry and frizzy, and after using this, it feels even more dry and frizzy. I think this shampoo is better for people with oily hair or lots of product buildup. If you have dry or damaged hair like mine, this might be too stripping. It works as intended, just not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very strong shampoo that I feel does detox and thoroughly cleanses the scalp, however be cautious as it's extremely stripping and could in turn cause your scalp to overcompensate with oil production. Even after only using it once every few weeks my hair feels super stripped every time. The smell is also very overpowering.
