Just follow the instructions: wet your hair good; and out only a little bit (the size of a quarter, the coin, in the palm of your hand; then rub it in all over your entire head/hair. That's all you need. And my son's hair is shoulder length, when you stretch out one of his curls.

I love the product itself, but for some reason with Walmarts shipping or delivery services, I receive about half of the orders, and sometimes they are just the wrong order. Not worth trying anymore.
