Easy to assemble when you follow the instructions. The floor slopes to the door slightly and there's a groove along the edge with drain holes to keep water from standing inside. It's sturdy once assembled. I spray water inside to clean it and it dries pretty quick. Seems well insulated for winter. There's plenty of room for a large dog. The door is offset from center which allows your dog to not have to be always in the doorway.

Overall, impressed with quality and insulating the cold for my outdoor pets. The assembly was somewhat a task due to pliability of the heavt duty plastic. Once aligned, went together as designed. Value for dollars spent is very good for what you get. My pet jumped right in there after I put padding on the floor.

I read reviews before purchasing. This doghouse was highly rated but did have a couple of negatives. Yes, it assembled easier with two people. But one can also handle it. The holes were predrilled and in the correct places. I disagree with the few comments about it being lightweight- it is heavy and I'm comfortable using it with my German Shepherds and *****.

Would've been great as far as size and sturdiness of the plastic but the design had a manufacturer error the nail slots didn't have holes so I had to buy screws because it comes with flat screws and buy new bigger heavy duty drill to put it together. Very upset

I purchased four of these igloo dog houses at one time getting ready for the winter months. I was disappointed with the size, and there's no protective door/flap to keep any bedding in it. my 96lb lab/pit can barely get in. The assembly was easy enough for me to do it alone. I honestly don't know how I'm going to keep bedding in. I'd rather the old igloo doghouses, but I guess as long as they stay DRY it'll have to do.

Not all of the holes were predrilled. I had to drill several holes myself. The pieces of plastic just dont look like they match up that well. But other than having to drill out the holes, assembly was very easy. I did it by myself. The top of the vent is not fastened to the doghouse, only the bottom. There is no seal or anything around the vent to stop the rain from leaking inside. It is fastened to the back of the dog house with two screws. 1 on each bottom corner. The top of the vent is not secured therefore the top is slightly raised. When I push one side down the other side pops up. As for appearance, it is not cute. I will leave it at that. I will paint it or something. It is pretty lightweight to be an XL doghouse so its easy to move around. Would I recommend this product? Not for the price I paid for it. I paid $111 before taxes. Only bc it was the only one Walmart had in stock and I had to have one that day.

Scheduled to arrive on Saturday the 15th then delayed to Thursday the 20th, then delayed again and got here the 22nd. Finally came and the house was damaged!!! The top %26 middle parts aren't able to be screwed together because the parts where the screws go, was broken off!!

I run a wildlife rescue and had sudden cold rain so paid extra to have this heavy duty easy assemble rushed over-but unfortunately I'm unable to assemble it as the manufacturer failed to drill holes all the way through all the EZ align tabs. So waiting on a friend to come by with a drill to finish the job. Otherwise seems very sturdy.

I received my igloo doghouse but when I got it out of the box, there is a piece broken out of it like maybe it was dropped or something. I do not think it will be watertight now. The breakage is in the curved part at the back of the doghouse. If I can figure out a way to send you a picture I will

I ordered two of those igloo dog houses. Having been under my carport for a month in the boxes. Today I finally had the time to put together. The first one had to broken connectors off the middle piece. That the screw was supposed to go through to hold the top piece together. Then I opened the next box. One of the connector components was broken off. And there were no screws at all. And their vent was missing. Seriously disappointing , would not recommend
