Outdoor Weatherproof Extension Cord Plug Gaskets and Christmas Light Plug Gaskets

I have used these for several years on my large outdoor Christmas light display. Have never had rain trip the GFCI receptacle when using these. They are pricey, but I'm willing to pay the price to not have the aggravation of the lights going off in the rain.

These soft silicone seals are really good to add a little more waterproofing to connected cords for outdoor use. The silicone is soft and conforms to make a nice tight seal between male and female plugs. I used them for outdoor holiday decorations in addition to cord protectors. So far, even with a lot of rain, no electrical problems.

So far it looks like it's working. I've had to wrap duck tape around all of the cords to keep water from getting in to them which makes the lights not work.

work really well for strings of Christmas lights connecting to each other and power cords. I wish they made these also to cover the ground hole when connecting a two-prong male to a three-prong female

These plug in gaskets worked well outside. My husband used them and had no issues with water shorting out the outside outlet. And we had a lot of rain!
