Outlander 4-Copy Boxed Set: Outlander, Dragonfly in Amber, Voyager, Drums of Autumn (Paperback)

This collection is for an avid reader, not a collector. Books are well put together but nothing fancy. Perfect for someone on a budget that wants to read a good chunk of the Outlander series. Spine is noticeably worn after one read through.

This was exactly what I needed for the person I bought it for at Christmas. And, even more important was the fact that Walmart had other collections by the same author. A real win-win experience.

This is the all-time best storyline and best books (have the entire collection) I have ever read. The story keeps you interested from the beginning. Love, romance, personal challenges, different locations of the world, family, friends, enemies and of course the time travel. There are many books in the collection and it will take time to read. This collection of books is an excellent start. To enhance the experience you should also get Season 1 of the TV show. The author, Diana Gabaldon, is a fantastic story teller and writer. I purchased the entire collection for my Aunt who loves to read and Season 1 of the TV show. This story is so good I will read it again as well as watch all the Seasons of the show.

I saw the show recently and I was intrigued about the story in the books especially that it is usually better. I was not disappointed. The books also explained in details the relationships between the characters.

There is nothing wrong with the stories themselves, but after reading the 1st chapter of the 1st book, it started falling apart. The entire first chapter and half of the second had fallen out before I even got to chapter 10. I'm on book 2 now, and have been even more so careful with it because I didn't want it to start falling apart. But what do ya know, I'm 11 chapters in and it's started falling apart too. I can only imagine the others will as well fall apart.

The book series is amazing although the books were poorly put together. The pages are falling out of the binding after only reading 2 chapters.

I ordered this set after reading a thrifted copy of the first book, figuring id save money and replace the book since it was falling apart while also getting the next book in the series. However this book set doesnt seem to be an upgrade. I opened up book 2 just to see a small rip in the bottom of the page, only to see that the glue is so cheap it almost instantly falls apart. in the midst of reading it, about 200 pages deep, two whole book pages came out of the book itself. I even though that maybe the one copy was just poorly made, but i checked the other books and it seems they also have similar signs of already falling apart even though they are brand new.

The only reason I gave this series two stars is due to the print size. Very tiring on the eyes. Can only read a little at a time. If the print was just a little larger, it would be more comfortable to read.

I bought these book and unfortunately the pages started falling out as soon as I started reading, so I submitted a request for a replacement order . Thats was easy and quick took two days to get the new order .I just received that today and again the pages are falling out this time I just did a full refund . I believe this issue is due to failure in the publisher's hot glue binding. Spend the extra money and get hardcovers
