Outsidepride 1lb Alfalfa 'Medicago Sativa' Plant Seeds

I haven't used the seeds yet. I 'm planning to use it in the spring. However, I tried a small amount to a little part of my pasture area to get an idea. The packaging was secure and delivery was prompt. I use Walmart delivery for many of my purchases and it is very rare that I have a problem. The appearance on the packaging looks full and lush. I 'm hoping my horses will like the taste.

These seeds make delicious and fresh sprouts. Here is a pic of my first batch.

Decent alfalfa for the price. I have it in a mix for hay, primarily fed to cattle. I just put it in so I can't say much about germination, yield and longevity. As usual, these Walmart surveys come too early to give anything close to an accurate assessment of the product. I've had success with this type of alfalfa here (southwest Virginia), before, so I'm assuming it will grow as usual. If I waited until the first cut was ready, the survey would have been expired. Great job Walmart surveyors (sarcasm added at no extra charge).

I was under the impression these seeds could be used for sprouting micro-greens. The seller needs to provide a disclaimer that these are NOT FIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
