Oval Pan Watercolors - Washable - 16 Color w/ Brush

Economical item for beginner watercolor artists that are learning how to use "cake pan" colors. Priced good, good packaging, durable, would not recommend for more advance painters.

I grew up with this brand of paints and liked them a lot.

Prang always made good watercolor paints. I remember that we used them in art class when I was in grade school. They came in a black tin back then. I really like the colors and the paint brush that came with them was pretty decent for me, a beginner watercolor artist.

Good product for a reasonable price

I love these paints and my students do great work with them. I only wish there was a pan of white in this set. I have to buy white pans separately and hand them out in tiny zip-seal bags.

I like the Prang brushes, but these paints were below their standards. Many of the lids did not close. One lid was cracked. The colors were not quite true to what you would expect. I bought 50 of them to send home to my online art students and needed them to be washable, and with a decent brush. I would not buy them for the classroom.

These are terrible. They are STICKY. Student work gets stuck together even after it dries. I even take the lids off of the case so they can air dry better. Still slimy and sticky.
