i love it, it takes no time to heat the oil, and it does great in frying the foods
The max fill line is about 1 liter way less oil than full size fryers. I only fry foods on limited occasion's so this lil guy is perfect for me no more buying a whole gallon of veg oil. Takes up minimum counter space.
iI have always used a pan on the stove top for deep frying, but at my age, I thought I'd better get something different. I did have to return the first two I ordered, as the magnetic cord wouldn't stay in; but the one I have now is wonderful.

this is a true value well worth the cost.
Decent fryer for the money but I DON'T like the very light very thin completely unlined or un-insulated plastic lid, as opposed to the sturdy heavier thickly-lined METAL lids that used to come with similar fryers. The lid doesn't seal off ANY of the steam when cooking, and it scalds your hands every time you go to open the lid. The poor seal around the lid also means that the edges of the fryer get heavily splashed or condensed with oil and steam, as well as the control unit, and you have to spend significant time cleaning it off after every use or it quickly becomes covered with congealed oil. Works well otherwise though, for the price.
The fryer basket is pretty small. Can only get 2 drumsticks in the basket at a time. Takes too long to fry d/t the basket size. I should have returned it. Lesson learned.
The item came totally DAMAGED, that is a SHAME
