Pretty simple thing, but that doesn't always mean it works. In this case, it does. Plugging both USB 2 and 3 peripherals into it with no problems. I do not have the AC adaptor for it, but that has not been a problem so far and one XHD did plug into it separately, 1 port for power and a second port for data flow.

Laptops these days don't have many USB-A ports. With a mouse, there's only one left. This splitter allows me to print, use an external keyboard, and attach external disk drives at the same time. A promo code was offered in exchange for this review but did not influence the content.

For the price this is a great product. I have a gaming pc and I bought a lot of stuff for it but didn't have enough outlets. With this, I can plug in my microphone, headphones, and mouse and whatever else I have, and save a lot of power. The connection speed is also very quick, the switches are satisfying and good quality, and it hides under my desk very well. And no drive is needed to use it which is a lifesaver.

This is very convenient to use if you need extra usb ports. It is very simple to use, i use it for my pc. I plug it into an open port on the pc and then connect other things like my keyboard, headset, cell phone, desk lamp. It has multiple ports. This is a great buy!

My last laptop and my new one have only one USB port which I use for a mouse (in 30 years, I still cannot use the touchpad) I purchases this, it has been very helpful. So simple, just plug in and use. I am not at all tech savvy, a total tech zero, but this was something even I could handle.

It's a little light weight out of the box which lowered my expectations from the description, so it was a pleasant surprise how well it performed! I finally have more than enough ports for all my gear. This far surpasses the last one I bought and I'm very pleased I ordered it.

This item is great!! It holds up to 10 additional USB connector slots. When the device is turned it's takes out the complexity of having two usb adapters linked to multiple devices to serve functioning device limitations we deal with on a daily basis from inventors and their new to make things more lightweight

My TV only has one HDMI and USB port. I have Roku, surround sound stereo, wireless headphones and a TV transmitter/receiver adapter. How technology has advanced! This unit solves all those connections with ease. I like how it powers each connection individually and shows an on/off indicator for each port that is lighted so it shows at a glance those that are powered on. I'm very impressed with it and highly recommend it.

Good hub however it does not come with a power cord. Works without being remotely powered but if you have high demand things plugged in you will need to buy a power cord separately. Knowing this now i probably would have done more shopping and picked one that came with a power cord.

I bought this because it us USB 3.0 which should handle my 4k camera. Unfortunately, it does not. However, I was able to move peripherals around such that the camera is plugged directly into the computer. So, it is not working as I hoped but it does provide me another avenue. If you do not have a 4k camera you should have no problems with this USB splitter.
