Oxbow Essentials Ferret Food - 4 lb Dry

My ferrets eat it no problem. Their poops are smaller, but still go a lot. The pieces are perfect size for their mouths. Has a high protein content which they need.

I've been feeding my 3 ferrets this food for 3 years. It's of excellent quality, the ferrets love it and it's the best ingredient option of all of the available ferret foods out there. All the others have ingredients that obligate carnivores like ferrets do not need and shouldn't have in their diet as some can be quite bad for them and cause painful and even life threatening stones.

My two girls love it, I leave a bowl for them to graze on, but also use it to make their soups. They will not eat anything else. They are healthy and their coats are soft as silk.

My ferret, Ringo really likes this good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food was the perfect size for Ferrets or another small rodent, although you do have to make sure if you're giving it to a pet other than a ferret that the ingredients are okay for them. The food is in the shape of small discs or circles. It claims to have 100% of the daily nutrition your ferret needs, and it also doesn't have any corn, peas, or potatoes. It's nice to be able to trust a company that focuses on creating healthy food for the tiny pets in your lives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I see such a difference in my ferret Coco appetite. She gets so excited when I serve her food and she eats with excitement and all in one sitting. The previous food she would eat here and there. I love the ingredients and it's healthier for my pet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My ferret loved the new food and seems to help out his coat since it looked better after only a few days. The bag is resealable which is nice and the price is not too bad. I'll think about switching or maybe mixing it with his original food.

I'm giving 4 stars because although I love the brand and food, I hate that it's only a 4lb bag option. I feel there should be a 25lb bag option as well. The one size doesn't help and I've had to switch to a different brand for a bulk option sadly.
