OXO Brew Cold Brew Coffee and Tea Maker

The brew system is designed really well as I expect with all OXO products. It is incredibly easy to use and makes the process fast and simple. I spend a max of 10 minutes total, both setting up and breaking down. Could I use a mason jar to brew cold brew? Absolutely. But then I have to worry about how to filter the finished coffee easily, and cleanly. This is where the product makes it worth while. It couldn't be more simple. I also use an aeropress to brew my hot coffee and layer one of the paper filters from that product onto the metal mesh filter in the OXO. It works great this way as well. I have only had leaking occur once, but realized it was my own issue as I had replaced the rubber ring incorrectly. The only actual "issue" I have is that one brew lasts me 6-7 days and I'm considering getting the larger product so that I have to make it less often or at least get to drink more coffee :P

Really like this cold brew maker. It's way taller than I had anticipated but it does a great job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Compact cold brew set,and it leaks a bit from the seal on the drain of the brew container. The main seal of the drain bottom that screws onto the container is fine, it's the spring loaded drain/stopper that leaks. It's not bad yet, but my first cold brew set was about the same on the first time brewing and got worse the more I used it. Still makes great cold brew and for the price I'll put up with the little leakage, unless it gets like the first one did.

This is an easy, clean, easy to make counter top cold brew syrup. The design is simple and of good quality and the instructions are easy to follow and provide some tips and tricks.

It leaks even though the seal is in place and it is tightened properly.

The only reason it doesnt have less stars is because they make you pick no less than 1!! Horrible frustrating experience!! The customer services is the absolute worst!! Amazon is the best!! I ordered this item, paid for it, never received it. Instead they delivered someone elses order for (small plastic baggies) which i returned immediately- because they have a picture of "a" package on my porch- they claim that my almost 70$ cold brew maker was delievered and will not refund my money or send me the item. So I paid for the item and never received it! I tried talking to customer service- all you can do is talk to AI and they wont replace/refund anything until i return the package I never received!! GO with AMAZON!!! do not take a chance on Walmart!! - Amazon makes everything so easy!! Walmart cant compete!!

I've had coffee from multiple home cold brew systems and loved it. I have had no luck whatsoever with this product. I checked with friends to make sure I was using the right kind of coffee, the right grind and the right proportions. The coffee was still terrible. My only guess is that the filtration system is ineffective.

The glass carafe is angled inward for some diabolical reason, so it's hard to hold onto. Just today, in fact, it slipped out of my hands while I was filling the reservoir, and water went all over my counter. And this is a pick by the wirecutter, too.
