OXO SoftWorks 8-In Fine Mesh Strainer with Comfortable Non-Slip Handle – Stainless Steel Sieve

I have always been totally satisfied with products made by OXO, so when I needed to replace my ages-old 8" metal stainer, it was a no-brainer. So I knew the size, material (stainless steel) and brand of what I wanted; now I wanted the cheapest price. You guessed it. This strainer is very good quality with a comfortable handle and has now been through my dishwasher three times with no discoloration, which to me is the real test of quality for a stainless steel product. No, I am not a paid shill for OXO!

I generally like to buy all stainless steel tools for my kitchen. Based on the fact that the rivets and connections of the all metal tools tend to rust overtime, I decided this time to buy this strainer that eliminates that problem. It's slightly bigger than my last one and deeper. Based on the fact that the rivets and connections of the all metal tools tend to rust overtime, I decided to buy this strainer that eliminates that problem. It's slightly bigger than my last one and deeper. It fits over a standard pot, and the handle is very ergonomic. I think I'll have this one for a really long time.

NOT AS FINE OF A MESH AS MY OLD 8 INCH MAINSTAYS STAINLESS STEEL FINE MESH STRAINER! I'LL KEEP THIS ONE, BUT I WON'T EVER BUY IT AGAIN, I'LL GET ANOTHER MAINSTAYS!!!

Have been using this for months. It doesn't bend, strains herbs incredibly well. I'm a daily tea drinker, herbalist. I hand wash to keep the color, but this will last me for a long time. Forever buyer.

It got a little squished in delivery as it was placed unprotected in a paper delivery bag. I adjusted the mesh the best I could, but it is still a little misshapen. But still usable and the price was right. One star for throw it in a bag delivery and five stars for product.

Needed a strainer with a handle. Seems sturdy. Stainless steel mesh is a plus.

works great and very sturdy handle that can tolerate heavier liquids and solids with ease. high quality strainer

BOUGHT TO USE MAINLY FOR CANNING. SO FAR IT HAS MADE IT THROUGH ONE CANNING SEASON AND WORKED FINE.

This strainer is well made. It's large. , sits well on top of a vessel, and since it's silicone it doesn't slip. I would like a smaller one too.

prefer this as it is smooth all the way around.
