OXO SoftWorks Silicone Spoon Spatula - White

Great spatula, but I returned this one for the model with the pointed corner, as I feel I have more control when scooping with that configuration. I chose OXO because it is a well-known brand with a stellar reputation . My earlier spatula started releasing a weird chemical flavor after a year of use. I would rather pay more for a quality product when it comes to food safety.

If your serious about working in your kitchen this is a must. Its heat resistant for your scrabbled eggs, omelets and pan fried meats. Nice handle, easy to use %26 clean up is a breeze. I really like the shape of this spatula I use it for baking as well as stove top cooking.

Scrapper replaced my old favorite. Was confident Oxo would feel comfortable in my hand. They have great handles for arthritic hands. I

I've been using the same old spatula for years now. It's a bit too flexible, not quite long enough sometimes, and the end doesn't conform well to the inside of some containers, making it not do well at cleaning them out completely. I was shopping at Walmart recently when I saw this new design, more of a "spoon" shape than a one-sided wedge, and decided to give it a try. It works SO much better than my old one. The round spoon shape is perfect for getting into smaller containers, and the soft silicone conforms well to the inside of the bowls and containers, getting every last bit out, Works well for lasagna sauce, pizza sauce, cake batter, mayo jars, etc. (I'm looking for a smaller version for things like jelly jars) Being silicone I'm hoping it's more heat-resistant than my old one, which has a warning about heat stamped on it. Also hoping it doesn't start staining from the tomato sauce like the old one. The only downside for now has been the price. It costs a little more than I'd expect to pay for a kitchen utensil. But it's also one of those things that will get used often and pay for itself in the long run.

I have had a similar spoonula for 10 years, so I am going to compare the two. Comfort - A It fits in the hand well. Use - A The tip is not as flexible as my previous one, but this still scrapes all the bits out. Durability- B- It feels less substantial than my previous one, but is still sturdy. Overall A- It is a solid replacement and I know I will use it quite a bit.

Excellent product, superb quality as we have come to expect from Oxo Good Grips. Handle is comfortable and the utensil is long enough to reach into most cookware. The spoon part is rigid enough to break up ground meat and turn large amounts of veggies. I was worried about it getting stained, but it washes clean after a cycle in the dishwasher. Really nice spoonula.

Great design, love that it is flexible for scraping out jars, for example. Many other versions are hard as a rock. And no toxic, black silicone to chip off. The non metal shaft means no chipping of the edges of my cookware when I tap the shaft on the side of a pan.

I use it all the time for mixing. Great for blending and scraping. Only wish the spoon spatula part was a little stiffer.
