OXO Softworks No-Spill Rectangular Ice Cube Tray

I've tried other trays with lids and silicone bottoms, but that silicone wears out and leaks eventually. For this tray, most of the ice releases itself. The cubes that don't can easliy be removed. If used as directed, there is not leaking in the freezer.

I like that this ice tray comes with a silicone cover to keep the ice protected. The shape of the ice makes it easy to get out and place in water bottles even if they have a smaller opening.

Oxo makes amazing products and I use a lot of their items. The ice cube tray is really nice. The lid seals well and keeps ice clean. It is a very long tray, but not tall. The tray is plastic, but the ice comes out of it really well. No hot water needed to get them out. I originally thought the tray was also silicone and was disappointed when it came and was plastic, until I used it. The plastic is absolutely perfect with this design.

Unlike built-in freezer ice makers, we can make cubes with our own choice of liquid beverage (e.g. coffee) or highly purified or treated water. Cubes are the right size for most uses and contoured for easy release. Flexible silicone lid prevents evaporation and spills if used at a reasonable angle.

The cover is great because it helps prevent spills and keeps the ice fresh, so it doesn't smell or taste like freezer.

Purchased these when ice maker was acting up. The trays don't fit perfectly level in ice bin, but with silicone lid up to 45 degree is accommodated

My refrigerator's ice maker broke. I had one of these and liked it so I ordered two more. Way less expensive than a new refrigerator. The cubes come out with little effort on my part.

I've had one of these OXO ice cube trays for many years %26 decided to get another. I like these SO MUCH BETTER than regular trays. I even prefer these to my ice maker, which I never use.

Water spilled EVERYWHERE! I'm using freezer since my ice maker broke. I'd be better off freezing water in an aluminum pan and smashing it up.

the tray leaks like crazy! spills all over, and the ice cubes themselves are tiny. I used 10 cubes that melted within 10 minutes of the added cold water.
