OXO Softworks Salad Spinner and Fruit Washer, 6.7 Quart, Clear

I really like this one. Others I have tried either the cord you pull wore out or another one we had, the handle broke. This one has neither, easy to use, very sturdy, perfect size and you use the pop-up on top to push down to spin it then when done, push it down to lock and it fits perfect under the counter.

While this spinner is a little more money wise, it is worth every penny. It's easy to use and does the job wonderfully. The main trick is if there is water at the bottom of your clear bowl after spinning, you must dump the water out and spin lettuce again till no water is at the bottom of the bowl.

So easy and so user friendly! Truly a no brainer for getting excess water off of your greens. I appreciate the convenient tab on the top that leaves the push button depressed, which makes this salad spinner very easy to store. Super easy to clean as well.

my only con is that its a little pricey. 5 stars for everything else. i hate soggy lettuce so in turn i hate washing my lettuce. this pulls all water off so i dont have that issue and its easy to use that even my 4 year old helps me with washing fruits and veggies.

The durability: great. Design: genius! Assembly: Super duper simple! Maintenance: Little to nothing, just wash it! Unreal product! Super simple, yet super effective. It mixes my salads with ease, Abel to combine anythign I really want in them, and I love this product!

well I live alone and I wash my lettuce and salad mixes thoroughly. I thought a salad spinner might help me get all the water out after I've washed them but this oxo salad spinner does not get the water out at least not the way I'm used to selling spinners working. I'm thinking about sending it back and getting the smaller one maybe that would be more efficient.

The OXO salad spinner is super easy to use and dries out the lettuce fast. I love that it can be used as a bowl too so it saves time and dishes. I love that it's used as a colander too with even veggies I can wash them while spinning them dry all in one place. You can fit a lot into the bowl and drains easily. It's very easy to store and take apart if you wanted to use it just as a bowl.

We were gifted this salad and spinner by Oxo as a registry gift. I love how it spins and has the ability to stop quickly. My only complaint is the top is a little tough to clean and gets water stuck so it takes a bit of time to dry then gets water stains. However I still love the brand and this product. It has held up nicely over the years.

I try not to give bad reviews, but this product didn't do what the post described in a few important ways. Before buying this, I thought it was a more efficient way to wash and dry lettuce/produce, but the only thing I was able to change, since I already wash my produce by hand in a colander, is the drying process. This gadget spins the produce around and it drains in the bowl the colander sits in, similar to the spin cycle in a washing machine. Unfortunately, it doesn't dry my produce any better or faster than just dabbing it with a paper towel. The second problem happened when I let it go through a dishwasher cycle. Even though it was in the top rack, the bowl came out misshapen so now the lid and bowl don't fit together, which is important for something that operates by moving air. The result is that now the black button won't go down to spin the colander. It's completely stuck. And this is only about the 5th time I've used it. It may be past the point of being able to return it, but I'm still going to try. This is supposed to be a dishwasher safe product and $30 is a higher price for this kind of product. My experience has been that it hasn't lived up to that. I don't even want a replacement.
