Ozark Trail 2 in 1 Knife Sharpener ABS + EVA

I thought my sharpening gear was typical, but this sharpener has taught me that the gear I've been using is just average, while this Ozark Trails sharpener is way above average. The directions are a bit obscure, but simply do the ceramic hone last, and with both of the two steps keep the blade against each side in order to get the proper angle. Three or four pulls on each side of the blade while tipping the sharpener toward you and you will have close to the finest edge you will find anywhere. Then do the same with the white ceramic hone, but only one very light stroke...no pressure...let the weight of the knife do the work...and you will be surprised to find that what yo u thought could not improved upon, just got improved upon. I know...I have a collection of 30 folding knives and have sharpened each one with this sharpener. Each knife is sharper than it was before I did the deed. And $6-$7 a unit? Say goodbye to the $50 set of stones, the $100 electric spark maker, and the ceramic saw mills. Once again feel the smooth glide and perfect cut of a well made, razor sharp blade. Nobody is paying me to say this.

I purchased this to use on my scissors. I'm notorious for getting the blades mucked up with adhesives that cause them to get dull. This actually worked on my Tim Holtz shears. I use Goo Gone to clean the blades and then swiped this sharpener a few times. Works well. I had to go to YouTube to figure out what the side that has white rods on it was for since there were no instructions on the package. I like it and I'll be using it frequently.

Sharpened my knives quickly and easily with just a few strokes. Prior to buying this, I was going to throw out a pair of scissors that had gone blunt but thought I'd try sharpening the blades with this instead. Voila, scissors are now good as new. Great price point and good quality sharpener. Highly recommended.

I bought this to sharpen a $1 knife that I use for just about everything. At first, I couldn't figure out what to do since it didn't come with instructions. After watching several videos about other similar sharpeners, I used it and it worked great. Keep the knife straight at a 90% angle, use the darker side first (coarse) and the lighter side last (fine). The writing on the plastic is hard to read, but it's there. I probably slid it through 20-30 times on both sides, and am happy to say it made my $1 knife much sharper than when I bought it.

These sharpeners are about half the price of the similar sharpener on Amazon. They are small and lightweight , perfect for backpacking, tackle boxes and tool kits, and I like their camo color more than the bright yellow of the competitor. They are also space-saving in kitchen knife drawers. These are great stocking stuffers for Christmas!

Honestly, I didn't expect much for the price. It amazed me. 3-4 swipes and my knife cut like butter. I have already recommended it to a neighbor. Easy to use.

I was looking for a small cheap sharpener to keep in my kitchen drawer so I could touch up my knives. This works great. In fact, I ordered two more. Just a few strokes and the item is sharp.

What great little knife sharpener! It doesn't take up room in that “special tools” drawer. Then of all of the wonders in the world- IT REALLY SHARPENS!!

It's very easy to use. However, it is a bit small and it has a rubber feet, but that causes it to slide around on a hard surface because they're not big enough to really grip. Other than that, we don't have any complaints.

Can't really review the item because it was never delivered. I have tried to convey this to Walmart through the app but I have had no response. In my opinion , Walmarts delivery is not good. I should have known better!
