Bought this to use to cut my butternut squash and spaghetti squash. Sounds funny but they are so hard to handle and cut so I figured why not use something sharper. Regular knives just don't work. Still have to saw a bit too do it but not as hard on my hands. It's supposed to be used for tree limbs but I'm sure it would work fine for that also.
I bought this to prune my lilacs, crabapple, and other bushes around the yard. Its pretty much effortless. Great product. I highly recommend.
For a cheap hand saw, this thing has done a great job helping clear my back 'forest' of all kinds of thicker branches, 10/10.
This dirt-cheap pruning/camping saw cuts on the pull stroke, not the push stroke. This single feature (borrowed from Japanese saws) makes this a must-have tool!
If you put in the effort, it works like it was designed to. It's not a power tool.
An excellent garden saw that has a foldable blade. I was able to easily trim a tree.
Great value for the money. One third the price of "box store" "F" brand pruning saw. Cuts small branches like butter.
Ordered three of these, and one of them came broken. It wouldn't stay open which is potentially dangerous as the blade can fold in on your hand. However the ones that came just fine, seem to be decent quality. The blade is sharp and thick.
Blade does not have the sharpness assumed and needed for old, diseased rose bush, root-branch'.. Overall, being a novice at "saw" buying decisions..... A list of the tool's limitations and/or recommendations is needed.
The reason for my poor review is yhat I ordered %26 Walmart chose to substitute my knife for a folding saw! Now I have to package it back up, print out a label %26 FedEx it back to them. And still no knife.I complained but have heard nothing back. I found the same knife, same price (with free shipping)on eBay %26 got the correct knife in three days. Thanks Walmart.
