Ozark Trail 8-Person Clip & Camp Dome Family Tent with Rainfly

As an avid camper and Ozark Trail superfan, I couldn’t wait to try this tent and it did not disappoint! I wanted it because it’s the largest one made in this brand that is “Clip %26 Camp” (same set-up as the $20 tents/no sweating while feeding rods through tight slits). It took me 9min to setup going slow and quite literally 4 to take down! I go camping a lot with my son so I wanted to upgrade to something more spacious but still simple for me to operate alone! Love it and couldn’t be happier!

Worked wonderfully well for my camping at Reggae On The River, in Northern California (Humboldt County). I would recommend it for light camping, where there are other people around. For serious wilderness camping, though, no; a tougher tent would be needed for that (more heavy-duty). For my purposes on this trip, though, it worked fine. And I really enjoyed the interior. Plus it was my first time setting up a tent (ever!), and it was super easy to do.

Super easy to set up. The rain fly is set-off enough that during a 6 hour down pour I had no drips or leaks, everything stayed completely dry! The open mesh top is great for warm weather but below 55, pack an extra blanket.

The floor isn't tub-like. The nylon goes completely to the ground. Over all a nice tent for the money for a family on a budget. I would recommend spraying water repellent on the tent before camping. I didn't use a ground tarp underneath the tent and the floor never leaked with condensation. I was surprised considering the ground was wet. I love this tent can be set up in 10 minutes with ease.

The tent overall was a great purchase. My boyfriend and I last minute decided to take a spontaneous camping trip and I couldn’t find a cheap tent for a last minute trip until I found this one. It was small but very cozy and could fit our queen sized air mattress. The material is very thin so it was a little colder at night but that’s our fault for going camping in the mountains in March. I would definitely say this is a summer and not winter tent as the wind chill goes right through it. It was spacious for two people and we had enough room to sleep and for our things. It is labeled as a three person tent but just beware with three people it may be a tight squeeze. Overall I would recommend!

I'm absolutely thrilled with my 4-person camping tent! It's perfect for backyard camping adventures with my kids and beach trips. I highly recommend this tent for anyone looking for a reliable and stylish shelter for any family adventure.

It's an ok tent. It really depends on what kind of camping you are doing. These do not stand up well against wind. When we beach camp, it gets knocked over with heavy wind . In the woods it's good. Easy set up/take down. Keeps water out if it stays upright. You could fit 3 twin air mattresses in it with 3 duffle bags, but there would be little room (ok for kids or people who are ok with no personal space). Ideal would be 2 twins or 1 queen or 3-4 ground sleepers. Not suitable for 1 king. Invest in some good tent stakes as most tents, of any brand, come with thin, cheap ones.

Pros: 1.Easy to set-up with 1 person. 2. Attractive 3. Roomy and airy 4. Price is unbeatable and the quality is great for the price. Cons: 1. rain-fly too small, so it can create lift in mild wind. But the material kept me dry. 2. Doesn't have guylines, fly only attaches to tent, so you have to buy rope and strong stakes for any type of weather besides gentle breeze. 3. Poles and design couldn't handle 30-40mph wind gusts and flattened. One was split on the plastic after a storm. Overall, I would suggest in mild weather, but buy a set of decent stakes and some line to attach to rope on fly for guylines.

I did not care for this tent. I have put together many tents and I have never had a tent that wouldn’t stand up with out it being staked in the ground. Even with all the support rods it won’t stand up without being in the ground, so for me this was a deal breaker. Got a refund

first set of rods to connect the elastic string broke! Only way to hold up the tent was duct tape! Ruined the whole trip. And cold as heck even with the rain cover. The top is all mesh which is nice if weather is nice. But at night the cold air came right through between the rain tarp (thin as a Kite!).
