Ozark Trail Kayak Hood and Trunk Tie-Down Lashing Points, 2 Pack, Durable Straps

These lashing points are strong and easy to use. My only complaint is that the straps are not long enough for all applications. They work fine for my hood and the top of my trunk lid (e.g., for tying down a kayak), but they are too short to protrude from the sides or bottom of my trunk lid (for mounting a bike rack) because there are several inches of lid thickness there and the mounted straps do not protrude outside the trunk. I am ordering extra straps to use as extensions for these applications.

If you travel with kayaks, canoes, or stand up paddle boards you will need to secure them to the roof of your vehicle. This tool is super easy to use and small enough to keep right in your pack. Strong and durable. Was able to securely hold my large canoe with ease. I feel safe traveling with these on my car.

Very high quality tie down option; especially for the price. Very simple to use and my kayak felt safe and secure. We even used to easily transport our kayaks and paddleboard from dock to vehicle. Highly recommend.

These tie downs are easy to use. The looped straps secure pretty easily. The rubber bumpers provide protection of bumping into the roof or sides of the vehicle.

Perfect option for securing the front of my Kayak when I carry it on top of my car / roof rack.

The Ozark Trail branded kayak hood/ truck tie downs are definitely that you paid for. They are straight forward to use and definitely seem like a decent quality but i'm not sure how they will hold up over long term use. These are definitely nice for occasional trips but i would recommend to invest alittle more if you're going to use quite frequently.
