Ozark Trail 8' Spinning Rod and Reel Combo
The Ozark Trail 8' Medium Action Spinning Rod and Reel combo was a great deal. I used it to go pier fishing the day after I purchased it and everything about it worked as it should. All the moving parts were smooth and landing fish up to the pier was no problem. Ozark Trail which I believe is a Walmart brand is a nice addition to my other rods and reels. I'm glad I took the chance to purchase 2 of them and save some money at the same time. Tight lines!

best deal going on a surf combo. reel is decent ,line is terrible and needs replaced. 25lb braid pairs well with this,

Nice combo set.
Poles has a nice action to it. Reel is very smooth and quiet. 2 handed handle should get it out in the water.

Good fishing pole for the money
My Grandson loves it. The only issue is the handle untightens itself and screw will fall off. I had to order extra screws since they are not as easy to recover when fishing.

Reel handle failed!
I hook up with a fish pompano! 14 inches When I set the hook the reel handle collapsed and cracked. I got the fish out of the water but the reel was no longer usable. Disappointed!!

Damage Damage before use.
Fishing Rod in a box with no bobble warp or any kind insulation. So rod falling around freely in box causing, Handle to break off the reel.

One of the reels was broken. I wont go through the return hassle, I will just try not to use ANY internet delivery, not only Walmart, but, ANY order/delivery purchase.

Item Missing Reel Handle.
I received this item but the handle for the reel was missing. Big disappointment!!! If you look closely you can see the delivery photo shows the rod and reel without handle.
