These shoes were one of the best deals I have gotten in a very long time! They were on clearance for only $14! They look very nice, the colors of the shoe look great! They also fit perfect %26 are so comfortable because they have nice memory foam soles! I highly recommend these shoes, they are too good of a deal to pass up!
I totally LOVE! these shoes for winter, they are super warm and their waterproof so far has been awesome for snow and basic rain... Plus I couldn't suggest a better deal for the price... I liked them so much that my wife ended up buying a pair for herself also...
I received two shoes one made for the right foot and another for the left foot. Someone had put the laces in the eyelet and that was a big help to me.the laces look pretty doggone strong and set the shoes off to an advantage. they were ( the shoes that is ) crisp and clean and I really like the color scheme. The shoes fit my feet and felt pretty dad-gum good on my feet.So if you're a needin a pair of shoes give these a tre.
These sneakers definitely surprised me and I surprised myself when I purchased them. They are definitely old guy walking sneakers morphed into passable middle-aged dude hiking sneakers. The soles are thick and they have good weight to them. Solid build. The memory foam inserts aren't something I've ever tried, but holy moly they are comfy. The insoles coupled with the neutral feel make these a dream to spend the day in. The materials arent bad at all. The colors are normal boring sneaker colors. They don't scream Walmart sneakers and I found that very appealing. Even huge name brands are looking generic nowadays-- Why spend big brand money when these look normal and are insanely more comfy?
These shoes exceeded expectations. The rubber sole grips solidly on snow, ice and various ground conditions. Its well padded and warm for winter conditions and probably not good for summer or hot climates. It's bulky in size as result but a good fit (true to size). It sole is higher than most hikers at 1.4"-1.5", so you'll feel a bit taller with these on. Overall, a good value but be careful of returns. Ordered a few pairs - one was new, the other was already worn (snow salt on bottom of shoes) and returned to be sold as 'new'.
Ordered these for a college student needing a pair of water proof shoes for rainy days. They work well for that purpose and were priced really well for shoes that aren't going to be worn very often. College kiddo said they looked good and he was happy with their performance.
I like the style of shoe. It's good quality material and the price was reasonable. The only thing I dislike about the shoes is that they run small. I wear a size 11 shoe and bought a 11.5 and the shoe is very tight on my feet. Maybe this will change the more I wear them , only time will tell. Other than them being smaller than I thought they would be they are great shoes.
These shoes are just okay. They are really a shoe looking for a purpose. I do not normally take a wide size, but they are tight around my toes. Yet if I walk in them, they seem to stretch out. I am hoping that over time they break in better. Also, the right shoe sits a bit funny by my ankle, but again, after walking a bit, they seem to settle in, maybe due to the foot cushioning. While they have an aggressive tread pattern, I found the rubber sole to be a bit hard. That might make the sole last longer, but I worry about whether the rubber is pliable enough to bite into rocks on steeper inclines. The rubber on the tread seems too hard. If I had paid regular price for them, I would have returned them, but I got them at a good deal so they are worth keeping. They do seem to be waterproof, based on wearing them in the snow recently, but they are not warm at all, so they are not really winter shoes. When I say they are a shoe looking for a purpose, they are just as heavy as my hiking boots. When all is said and done, I do not know why I would not just wear my hiking boots instead. Maybe on a hot summer day hiking I will grab these, but I am not so sure. At the price I got them, they are worth it, but beyond that I would say no. Overall, three stars. They are just average shoes.
A very strangely formed footbed. Only can be corrected with high arch support insoles. Also a very heavy and clunky shoe. On the positive side, they are built like a tank. I'm not returning mine, because I've already spent the money on modifying their design flaw.
Horrible dog food bag smell after wearing for several hours. Left a rash on top of both feet. Having to use lotion to heal the rash. Thankfully it's healing. Otherwise Ozark trail would hear more from me if I had to go see a doctor. Will not ever buy another Ozark trail shoe or product. My advice. Don't be cheap when taking care of your feet. Buy high quality and spend the money necessary or go barefoot.
