It does what it's supposed to do. It has a button on to you push along with the trigger to make if more child safe. It says it has an adjustable flame but when I adjust it, the foam is still the same so don't know if that works. Says it's refillable but I haven't tried to refill it yet. Comes with two woo it's economical.
They only do one thing... light stuff on fire. If you want to light stuff on fire, you should get these. I use it to light candles on fire. I could use it to light charcoal on fire. I could use it to light the campfire. I could use it to light an old fashioned gas lamp. I could use it to light a gas camping stove... and so much more.
Sent my son Webers Star Spangled BBQ for present on 4th of July. New place, no bbq. Decided to send him all accessories needed as well. Lighters work great and are obviously very helpful in getting fire started!
We bought the 2 pack less than a month ago and one of them is already empty. You would think you could light a candle once a day and get more than a month's use out of a lighter.
Get this as a backup, the controls arent as smooth %26 the flame isnt as strong as a Bic version but at this price- and as a backup- you cannot beat it
This was sent all taped up and had been previously opened. I wanted to give it to someone else and I couldn't in the shape that it was in. I let them know and was told to return it. I purchased it online because I didn't want to go to the store so that defeats the whole purpose of. Very disappointed that an item would be sent like that. I was purchasing NEW not previously opened and taped back together.
The Ozark Trail brand is owned by Walmart. You would think they would care about the quality of something attached to their name. Two lighters, very cheap, but you would think they'd at least be functional for a while. One failed after one day. No spark. When lit from another lighter it had a small weak flame, even though fuel was visible in the window. Now I'll see if I can at least bat .500.
Do not buy this. Don't waste the $2. How bad can it be? An old, empty lighter gives you a better chance at lighting anything. It's wild to me that two brand-new lighters, completely full, cannot produce a single spark between them. Waste of money and your time dealing with getting a refund and ordering something else.
I had this item delivered and when I received it I tried to use both of them to light a few candles to see if I liked them and neither of them would work. They actually hurt my finger trying to get them to work. Disappointed but what do you expect for $2? Definitely going in the trash can because it's not worth the trip to the store.
These are the worse lighters I have ever used in my life. I only bought them because I couldn't get a bic. %26, I still can't hardly light my smoke. My finger even has a blister!
