The extra space is nice and it's still very easy to pack in and out with. Set up is simple and easily accomplished by one person. Was able to confirm that it does stay water proof. Definitely worth the price.

I really like this tent. It is a one person tent but me and my son fit inside when we need to. Not too heavy and fits in my backpack without much of an issue.

I had been looking for a inexpensive backpacking tent. This one fit the bill. I took it on my first 2 night backpacking trip and it was great. I am a plus size woman and had enough room for me and my things in there with me. can't beat the price.

It's lightweight and easy to set up/take down. Perfect size for for one person. Has enough room to place an air mattress/sleeping bag, and to store a backpack

Went backpacking in Yellowstine and this tent was perfect. It was light-weight, easy setup, and great wind protection.

Very nice very durable easy to set up a bit heavy but if you get rid of the steel steaks, you free up almost a pound

My daughter needed this for a camping trip and it worked out perfectly. Easy to set up, no issues.

this tent is a HUGE improvement over the $30 backpacking tent by Ozark Trail from a few years ago. the tent now has proper ventilation with a separate rainfly to prevent condensation. I haven't gotten to use the tent yet so can't do 5 stars. the fact that the rainfly has that vacant space in front of the door concerns me but for $30 the price conscious backpacker should do just fine unless it's snowing.

Instructions aren't super clear if you are new to camping. took me some time but now I know. It literally fits one person. unless you have 2 small people. I tried using an Aerobed inside of it but it makes it too hard to move. so use foam or a comfy sleeping bag with a cushion. When I used the aerobed 12 in, it made the window a perfect height to look out and stay cool. I prefer the rain cover for privacy but it can easily be removed to look at the stars. But without the 12 in bed, you are staring at the side of the tent. we had one really good rain storm. so this tent will take on water thru the seams. I don't think it was rated to be waterproof so it was expected. Be prepared. it's hard to put back into the bag. it will take some practice to figure it out. hopefully I will get there some day. 🙃

Works as expected. Haven't used it for actual camping but the feel and setup was easy once I figured it out. Took me an hour to set up though.
