they're honestly perfect. i needed a school shoe that was great for the rain. we get A LOT of rain and I needed dry feet without bulk. they're great for water resistance in the rain and good traction too.

These are good for everyday wear. But they are not waterproof . My toddler was running around in wet grass and the boots were wet inside. On the plus side, they are comfortable and look nice.

Fell apart twice with little actual wearing. Bought for kids for rainy days and the toe cap separated on both shoes both times same area. Had to shoe glue the tow cap down on the second pair after three uses. But they were out of stock for replacement.
