Because the equipment I bought is from a brand that has been one of my favorites because I consider that for many years it has been among the best brands and its quality has not dropped. In addition, the price was extremely low for such an excellently efficient equipment.
The noise is low, and the size and power are suitable for medium-sized kitchens. The only thing that is not suitable is the unlocking design, because the location of the microwave oven is different in different kitchens, especially those placed in the middle of the cabinet or without children at home, there is no need to unlock the microwave oven every time after using it. Therefore, it is recommended that the manufacturer should have a simple setting file, which can be unlocked or not according to personal needs. In general, the microwave oven is very good. Recommended!
They previously had a Panasonic so that's what I ordered. I got complaints that the inner bake area was smaller than the older model. They didn't want to return it so I'm thinking they are satisfied. From my own experience I would only have another Panasonic.
It looks decent and setup was easy. About a third of the front is taken up with a removable sticker about a door lock, which seems to be unnecessary. There is no keypad. You specify cook time by pressing separate buttons for 5 minutes, 1 minute, 30 seconds or 10 seconds. There are and - keys to add or subtract one second at a time. This is mostly okay, but it's not intuitive and leads to more button presses.
The buttons are labeled with tiny print and are hard to read. The heat is 80% of our previous microwave so we have to press more buttons which are limited to 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute and 5 minutes instead of putting in a time we want. So it requires more work and hassle than our previous one.
It is working fine. Panasonic has always been a good microwave. I cant use all the features simply because i cannot see them. If your vision does not qualify you as a sharpshooter. you might want something else. zThat black panel looks nice. I have memorized the most used button placement. I will figure the rest out later. Maybe.
The microwave looks nice. The controls are well laid out, but the keypad mute sequence is annoying. The main problem is that it is very loud on start up. Just recently, the turtable rattles a lot. We thought maybe the plate wasn't aligned properly, but the ratteling cones and goes. We're thinking on returning the unit.
Stopped working after 5 weeks. Because I had purchased an extended warranty, I went there first. Was told to call Panasonic since it was still under manufacturer's warranty. Panasonic tried to reboot unsuccessfully and offered to send a service person…neatest one 8 hours away!!! What a ripoff.
The key pad was impossible to use. There were no numbers, only preset options such as; 1 min., 30 sec., popcorn, defrost, etc. I don't always use a set amount of times to cook/heat things, so this made the process complicated and time consuming....which is exactly what I don't want in a microwave.
the item was dented. it was scheduled for pick up/ return thur. 6/5 between 9am and 1pm. it was not. i recieved a text that they had come and tried to pick up but no one here. no one came to my door. my dog would have barked. i want this damaged item gone and a new undamaged one to take its place. please contact me.
