Panasonic Blu Ray DVD Player with Full HD Picture Quality and Hi-Res Dolby Digital Sound DMP-BD90P-K

I bought this Panasonic Blu-ray DVD player specifically to rewatch the entire Harry Potter series, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the quality and performance. From the moment I set it up, I knew I made the right choice. Setup was fast and simple—just plug it in, connect to your TV with an HDMI cable, and you're ready to go. The remote is user-friendly and responsive, and the interface is clean and easy to navigate. But the real magic began when I popped in my Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone DVD. The video quality is stunning—crystal clear with rich, vibrant colors and deep contrast. Hogwarts has never looked better. The sound quality is equally impressive. From the subtle background music to the powerful spells and action scenes, the audio is immersive and theater-like, especially when connected to a surround sound system. This Panasonic player handles Blu-ray and DVDs smoothly with no lag, no freezing, and barely any loading time. It even upscales regular DVDs, so older discs still look great. I couldn't find the product in store, so I went online and found the product immediately, ordered it, and it arrived within 2 days. I love the product.

Decent for the price but doesn't play any larger variety of USB files as any other value player. The makers claim it plays MKV but that's only half the story. MKV files using x265 codec, this player cannot read the video (but maybe the audio portion only) which is typical of every other player in this price range with USB capabilities. If you want something that you can plug into your TV that truly reads virtually a limitless variety of file formats, you need something like a GMKtec G3 Plus Mini PC which will run a couple of hundred.

Brand new out of the box didn't work, had to run to Walmart to get a refund. And hardly any Blu Ray players in store. And the associates were not helpful at all. To busy playing with a basketball. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Don't waste your money. Really wanted to like this thing has a great small form factor but when it's playing a blu ray disc it's as loud as my roomba robot vacuum. The mechanism must be quite cheap to be that loud. it really ruined the experience of watching a movie. I'm returning it. You're better off getting a used one at Goodwill for $15.

The day I got this BRAND NEW dvd player, it did nothing but freeze up. I got a new panasonic HDMI wire thinking that was the problem. Okay I plugged the HDMI in, it still froze. My next thing I did was check the back of the dvds to see if it needed cleaning which I did. To this day the dvd player is still freezing up, so now I'm stuck with a defective dvd player which I can't even use anymore. Thank you to the seller for sending me a bad dvd player!! I would NOT recommend this dvd player to buy. Talk about a waste of money %26 time that I put in to this dvd player. I got this because of the good reviews, but why was mine like this??

had the DVD / Blu-ray player a month and it stopped working. very disappointed the kind of money that you spend on your electronics they should last longer than a month.

don't waste your time. this DVD player is horrible! you have to hit the stop button three or four times before it ejects.. if you hit the power button, you literally have to wait about 30 seconds before you can eject or open up the case and then wait another 30 seconds before you can close it again. sound is bad, picture is okay but that's about the only good thing I could say about it. don't waste your time! I wish I had spent a little bit more money and gotten something else

This is the second Panasonic blu-ray player I've bought and the second one I have to send back. The first one the remote didn't work. I'm not sure what's going on with this one, it says invalid format and I have no idea what that means. I tried several different discs and different hdmi plugs but no luck, so back it goes.

The Panasonic DMP-BD90 after 4 months would turn on randomly forcing the TV to switch to it interruptting what you were watching on another HDMI port. In addition, more often than not, after turning it on you you could only move down 1 item in a menu. This required you to remove all power to reset it if what you wanted to select was 2 or more items down in a menu. To top it off, the warranty for complete repair had expires after 90 days so that when I finally decided to do something about it, it was too late.
