Bought at my wife's request. She prefers this exact product
As I have aged and my dense, fine, wavy red hair has faded, I am left with hair around my face that is frizzy and dry, but with a section of my scalp on the crown that is still oily. I have struggled for at least two years to find something that worked for all my hair, but most options have left me with good waves but a greasy scalp, or a non-greasy scalp but dry, frizzy ends. I even tried using two different shampoos, on different sections of my head, in the same wash but no luck. I started using this a month ago and love the results! I wash alternate days, follow with conditioner only on the dry parts, and then let it air dry. All of my hair looks shiny, healthy, and not greasy, and the waves look great for two full days. I am getting compliments on my hair again!
I love it. I have used very expensive shampoo when i was in an 80's tribute band for looks. I lost some hair off and on with the expensive shampoos, why? who knows. But in the past yr I have turned to the Clean shampoo without a conditioner and I love it. Keeps my hair clean and no flakes. It also strengthens my hair. I do not loose hardly any hair. Thank you Pantene.
This was well packaged and delivered with care.
Why did you have to change the scent of Pantene? It was much better in the 90's.I rarely purchase this product any more because of the new scent. Please go back to that original beautiful scent,I would begin purchasing it again as would a lot of my friends.Thank You
Item being shipped is not what's shown. Received a 16 oz. bottle with a pump, not 17.7 oz. squeeze bottle. Prefer squeeze type bottles. Not happy, now I have to return to store. Also one bottle was damaged, shipping box wasn't, so obviously packaged that way. Poor customer service Walmart.
They changed the formula of this shampoo since the last time I bought it and it's awful. I've used Pantene for 30 years (since I was a teenager) and I will not be using it anymore. The new formula made my hair feel very weird while I was washing it (not soft or slick at all, but “squeaky clean”). Once my hair dried, it felt very dry and frizzy, again, not soft or shiny like it always has. I had a little bit of the old product left and went back and used it and my hair went right back to normal. I'll be switching brands from now on.
I've always used the classic care shampoo. So last week I purchased it again, but notice the bottle was a little different. I didn't know the formula changed too! Now it leaves my hair really greasy! :(
I've been using this product for years and it's been great. However, sometime in the last 2 months, the ingredients/formula has changed. My hair no longer feels clean after I dry it and I can barely run my hands through my hair. It feels gross and dense. Until they start making it like they used to, I'll be switching to another brand.
I have no idea why the fomula changed! The scent this line had in the late '90s was positively addictive! This new stuff is just okay. With all the different lines the company markets to women with varying hair care needs, there is no reason they needed to change the classic formula. If I were in charge, I would reintroduce the old formula to the market and still maintain the new lines (for women with curly hair, thin hair, damaged hair, colored hair etc) that way you are tapping into all sorts of demographics. I really think sales would sky-rocket. I would certainly buy the old fmla in bulk!
