I ended up getting one of the combo packs that have the black, blue and red ink pens. These things are the best. They feel great in your hand grip wise. The ink also glides out of these pens and the gel ink does not tend to smear or bleed. If you are looking for a "go to pen" then you should try this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The grip on this pen is comfortable and big enough to get a good grip on the pen. As I age I find it is harder to hold onto a pen with no grip, as the pen just falls out of my hand. I had to scribble a lot to get the pen to start writing. I normally use another brand of gel pen but a 10. I thought I would try this pen even though it is a .7 to have a finer line. But the finer point does not write as smoothly as the 10 which makes writing easier for me. So maybe I will have to see if PaperMate makes a 10 and give that one a try.
