Paper Mate InkJoy 100RT Retractable Ballpoint Pens, Medium Point, Black, 16 Count

I love these pens. The ink flows smoothly across the paper without smudging, I use them to drawing and I enjoy the ink color. If you put a little water on it, it separates into different hues including some dark blues at least that's my experience. It just tells me that they have taken their time to incorporate the ink and the pen and to keep it affordable and enjoyable for the consumer. It is a straight barrel plastic pen but the smoothness of the ink takes a lot of the friction away so you don't need to use your hands and fingers as much to push the pen across the paper.

These are great if you like doing adult Connect the Dot puzzle books that require colored pens or markers. They're also fun for doodling, scrapmaking or journaling. Highly recommended.

I love how pigmented these pens are and how they write so smoothly on paper. I also love how these pens are retractable. I definitely will buy this again. Keep in mind, when you first purchase these pens, there's a small wax ball on the tip of the pen to prevent damage. This is on the package also in small fine print.

The best pens ever. Smooth writing, consistent ink, nice and dark gel. My go-to pens. Excellent price and grip feel too.

They do the job and last pretty long I write a lot for my job and still have fill pack and they all work. I recommend

I'm unhappy with this set of pens. I have not written with them yet, and the price was right. I bought, however, because they were advertised as multicolored inks, and there are pens of various colors-but in a 16 pen set, only 5 pens were anything different than the standard, black, blue, red. Super bummer. If you wanted to pass these out in a classroom, you're gonna have a bunch of disappointed kids when they get a standard in instead ink pen instead of one that's a pretty, fun, color. I would've chosen differently if I knew the number of true, fun colored ink pens was so few in this package. I bought 2 packs and have 20 of 32 pens that are black, blue or red.

I am pen obsessed so I might be a little more critical than others. I liked the colors, wish they were a bolder tip (as I almost always do!)...why do pen makers think everyone wants fine lines? I like a chunkier grip, R.S.V.P has my heart forever on the size, shape and feel, but these are okay for ballpoint...I was really going for more of a G2 vibe, but the colored ones were out of my price range this time around. I wouldnt use them for anything fancy but for color coded person notes and doodles they are fine.

I really like these pens when I get a good one but some of them don't work as well as others and leave a little blot when I first start to use it. When that happens I just throw it away and start on another. At the very reasonable price I feel they are still a bargain. Therefore, I do recommend them. If you can tolerate that - they are great.

I've just discovered the Papermate inkjoy pens, but this set was not the same smooth writing, like the others.

Ink skips and holding in my hand hurt I have small hands I would not recommend theses I was disappointed I had high hopes that they were gonna be good because I love paper, mate pens just not theses I was looking for some colored ink pens for my journaling
