Paper Mate Profile Retractable Ballpoint Pens, 1.4 mm Bold Point, Black, 8 Count

I didn't want gel pens, but needed one that would glide smoothly and not leave blots of ink. This is an easy pen to grip and writes smoothly. The tip does need to have the end cleaned off of the sealer, tho. The amount of pens for the cost is very economical. I will continue using this papermate black pen, the retractible style is better than searching for a cap.

These are the only pens I will use for at least the past 10 years. I have a heavy hand so thin point pens tend to cut through the paper and I hate gel pens since I write so fast the ink doesn't have time to dry so the ink is always smearing everywhere but with these non gel ball point pens with the 1.4mm point I don't have to worry about either of those issues!

No anemic ink here. These pens delivered the bold ink I was looking for when shopping for writing instruments. Paper Mate is, by far, my favorite ink pen brand.

I like these pens because they write darker than the average ballpoint. They also write smoother than most. They are darker than most without any effort because they are a 1.4 ink. Since I have arthritis in my thumbs I find these easier to write letters, with the rubber? grip. A great pen overall.

Have a bit or arthritis in my hand and this is more comfortable than most to grip but the best part is how smooth it is to write. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I think it has less ink than pens of the past. I use to write short notes for work and sermon notes.

Not the best, need to push hard for solid color, unlike most ball point pens. Push hard and you'll professional looking writing.

Very disappointed bc they are not that bold and we're dried out. I bought them from Walmart.com and finally found out why the above. Big box stores buy in huge bulks so some products sit on the shelf for YEARS! No wonder the condition. Learned about this from buying a large pack of Scotch Tape Refills. The tape was brittle, tore easily etc. I called Scotch and they make new batches every 2 years. In 2024 the pack I received from an online seller was dated 2019!!!

These pens are absolutely useless. They skip as you attempt to complete even one word. They are not smooth and you need to apply pressure and retrace the letters constantly. They seem to be dried out. Thought perhaps it was just one in the package but they are all the same poor quality. Will not purchase again.

poor quality dried up ink wont write very long at angle not worth any puzzle solvers time. have had to throw out so far third of what I bought. NOT HAPPY AT ALL
